French online brand Ekoi has unveiled its new Competition 9 winter clothing range that comes in seven different colours with two different seat pad options.
We’ve not tried out the Competition 9 clothing yet but we do know that it’s all made in Italy and it looks, on the face of it, to offer a lot for the money.
Check out our review of Ekoi's Rainstopper arm warmers here.
The Competition 9 range comprises jackets, long sleeve jerseys and bib tights.
The jersey (£67.05, size medium was out of stock when we checked earlier today) is made from polyester with an elasticated waist band at the rear. The cuffs are Lycra and you get a shorts protection flap at the bottom of the zip. The jersey is said to be suitable for temperatures from 10-18°C, when worn with nothing over the top.
The Competition 9 Aerosoto bib tights are priced from £92.20 and you can choose between Aero Sotto and Gel padding. The more expensive Gel pad is “designed for sensitive people or long distances” while the Aero Sotto – without gel inserts – is intended to be an all-rounder.
The tights are made from Miti Lombardia Lycra and have silicone tape, zips at the ankles, and they’re said to be good down to 0°C.
The Full Dry bib tights (£134.13) have a water repellent treatment.
The standard Competition 9 thermal jacket (£100.59) wasn’t in stock when we checked, and the Competition 9 Dry Full was out of stock in the most common sizes too.
We’re checking to see whether they’re likely to be available again soon.

That's a great price. Just bear in mind Import duty and handling charges will be applied pre delivery.
