The inaugural road.cc LIVE demo day takes place in Bath on Sunday 26 February 2017 and we’ve got some great bike brands lined up for you, including Scott, Specialized, Canyon, Cube, Giant, Rose and Ribble.
We’ve previously listed some of the shiny new bikes that Specialized and Scott will be bringing along to the demo event, and today we can tell you what bikes Giant will be offering up for test rides.
- Your complete guide to Giant’s 2017 road bikes
Giant will be bringing the following bikes:
- Propel Advanced Pro 2
- Defy Advanced Pro 1
- TCR Advanced Pro 1
- Avail Advanced Pro
- Envie Advanced Pro 1
A nice lineup indeed. Which one would you be wanting to test? We’ve tested many of Giant’s latest road bikes over the years. The Defy endurance model (above) is one of its most popular bikes and in 2015 was given a complete overhaul with an all-new carbon frame providing more comfort. It was the first time a big manufacturer had completely moved over to disc brakes. We like it a lot.
If riding fast into the wind flicks your switch then the Propel aero road bike is for you. It’s a fast and reactive aero bike packing the latest aero design in a package that is good value for money.
The TCR Advanced (above) is the lightest bike in its range, ideal for racing, fast sportives and climbing mountains. The latest incarnation is lighter than ever, yet just as stiff and comfortable.
And in collaboration with sister site ebiketips, Giant will also be bringing along its latest e-bikes, including the irt E+ 1, Full E+1 and Road E+1. The latter is a bike we’ve already ridden, and you can read about what it’s like to ride an e-bike up Austria’s toughest mountain right here.
Like the sound of that lot? Then make sure you get a place at road.cc LIVE by registering your interest here https://roadcclivebath.eventbrite.co.uk (link is external)

Perhaps you're running them at lower pressures / with extra weight? I've found they feel sketchy at least when cornering and I've had a few offs...
True ... but left to itself that notion tends to go the same way as instructing pedestrians, cyclists and SUV drivers to "share the road"!...
