But aside from the condom it sounds like it is giving you less protection than a pair of shorts?
it's a technical microfiber fabric, with a rear stretch triangle so you can shimmy your hips in comfort through singletrack, and it has a little front pocket for puncture patches/condom/tampon (delete as applicable).
Showing my ignorance, I thought a skort was a combination of shorts and skirt - so shorts with an added wrap around bit for those who feel to exposed in just shorts.
I'm confused now though, what's the difference between your skort and a normal wrap around skirt?
it's just a wrap-around 'skort' so any padding is, er, natural, or whatever shorts you wear underneath, i'm not sure that "does a scotsman wear anything under his kilt" rules apply
Is it padded, and if so did the shape of the insert make much difference? Might be on for one of those myself
oh, i've got one of those, and raced in it too, several times, but not that colour because it would clash terribly
Interesting, but it'd be a whole lot edgier and more challenging to pre-conceived notions of gender-based cycling style if you were wearing one of these…

And no sign of any orange? (to go with the pink nails)
I think I have the same nail polish.
What women's clothing have you been wearing and why can't we see it in the picture?
they are all a bit 'fashion' arent they, I mean you could find those in topshop (perhaps!?)...next thing you will be wearing wet look/fake leather arm warmers.
Have to add that the pirate element brings somthing to the table though
well they look (dread word) unisex to me
you are Danny La Rue and i claim my £10 and free kiss
"do arm-warmers really count as women's clothing?"
well, like 'womens' or 'mens' hats, shirts, trousers, pants, jackets, socks, gloves etcetc it's all about the style..
Well I like it, although (technical point) do arm-warmers really count as women's clothing?
"The green t-shirt/pink nails combo makes you look like a set of Halo wheels made flesh"
good point, i'll go shoot myself right now
It's all a bit busy for my tastes - understated always floats my boat, what's wrong with a little black dress, such a versatile garment… so I'm told.

And the nails? Don't tell me you got them painted at Argos
