Women's Fantasy Races

Ok I know I'm going to get the full wrath of the social justice warriors here ... but is there any need for the women's races to be included in the fantasy league? I appreciate they are brilliant athletes and would whip my backside on a bike but that's not the point, a lot of people don't follow women's racing and that doesn't make you a bad person or less a cycling fan. Plus if you do make the effort and try and research there is not a lot of info on races and start lists. I picked Armitstead for today to get a roster change email at 12:15 to say she's not racing by that time too late to make changes as deadline has passed and that's not a criticism of road.cc just demonstrates difficulties in getting info and yes I know men's racing has late changes etc but it's usually within time to make changes. Anyway am I the only person who feels it's better sticking to the men's elite??

I dont think it counts in the overall league, but does count in any leagues set up by yourselves

Im pretty sure armistead did ride if you got that at 12.15 today, that would have been the startlist being updated ready for saturdays race

my answer is if there is race you dont want to partake in then dont, be that mens or womens, the current womens races are bonus ones anyway. I quite like the womens races tbh

According to PCS she didn't start if she did race today my bad but the point still stands, I tried to pick Blaak last night and she wasn't even listed kind of devalues it a bit when the winner isn't available no? So if it's bonus it doesn't count toward your overall score?

I kind of understand your point... It'd be nice if the start lists were monitored and updated all the time to reflect who's riding, but it's a real time consuming process, start lists change all the time and it's a lot to expect someone to attend to this bunch of little details 100% of the time...
