FC2017 begins 10 Jan

This email has just gone out to all 2016 players. But in case you don't see it:

Hello 2016 players. This is a quick note to say that the Fantasy Cycling game for 2017 will open on 10 Jan with the Tour Down Under the first race on 17 Jan.

For 2017 the UCI WorldTour calendar is much bigger, and for this reason we're going to use that as the game calendar. The races included will be:

Some of those races will be amalgamated into competitions (Spring Classics, etc) as before. Some will run as single races. All standard races will count towards an overall season total, and this year there'll be a trophy 1

No Womens races, its just not feasible

ToB possible, no rush on that one, its not for another 8 months

Hi looking forward to the competition again this year!

have any noticeable changes been made to the game and will there be prizes for every comp or which comps offer prizes?

Non premium players can choose any 8 comps, standard or purist, during the whole year.

Dave, What races are counted in the free competition and which are premium only please? Can't find that breakdown anywhere on the comps lists published (but I may just have missed it)
