Ok so my "inspired" changes last night bring in two riders from FDJ.......tuned in, brill 2 riders from there in the break, but not my two also got the wrong Perez from Euskatel
So the team to beat today is . . .
Current team value: 173.5. Your balance: 2.3 credits.
Cadel EVANS BMC 39.2 GC
Thor HUSHOVD GRM 37.3 PC
Rigoberto URAN URAN SKY 15.0 KM
Bernhard EISEL THR 16.0 AR
Philippe GILBERT OLO 40.3 AR
Vincent JEROME EUC 3.3 DS
Danny PATE THR 5.0 DS
Egor SILIN KAT 3.0 DS
Geraint THOMAS SKY 14.4 DS
Brought in Eisel and Pate today, as they were the only THR riders I could afford, and I reckon CAVs going to win - so they'll get 5 pts each.
Some may think I am being a little contradictory when I seem to slag off CAV all the time, but to be honest, I have a soft spot for all the British riders including CAV.
So, Go THR today, and may SKY come second !
Now that we're sharing, this is what my lineup looked like y'day. Need to soon swap Uran out to get Bradley in.
Tejay VAN GARDEREN
Thor HUSHOVD
Rigoberto URAN URAN
Philippe GILBERT
David MILLAR
Denis GALIMZYANOV
Vincent JEROME
Yaroslav Popovych
Geraint THOMAS
here is my current shambles for what it it worth.
Bradley WIGGINS
Thor HUSHOVD
Bauke Mollena
Philippe GILBERT
Johnny HOOGERLAND
Denis GALIMZYANOV
Vincent JEROME
Yaroslav POPOVYCH
Geraint THOMAS
Well the KM wont change at all tomorrow, so wouldn't be looking there for points
Break aways WILL be left out there because the intermediate sprint is only 25km from the finish, so the bigger names wont be wanting to use their trains and energy for that one when the finish is flat
Also dont listen to me, i've transferred someone in who i think will break because its flat, turns out he's a mountain goat, but he might just want to test his legs
Plus i'm banking on a Frenchman who seems determined to make a break work at any cost, he'll cost you 10 and is a DS
I do believe Vincent Jerome is French and not had a go yet
But i think i have just transferred in the other one who may just have a shot at it because its flat
Who's french and not had a pop yet?
flat as a pancake so tomorrow's break is certainly doomed; it'll need to be riders low in the GC...
Wouldn't be banking on Roux again tomorrow, he had a double attack today and will be done for tomorrow
As for suggestions, i'm now stopping helping on here because everytime a name is mentioned their stars/popularity seems to shoot up
Isn't popularity directly proportional to value? Prey on the people by suggesting people you wish to swap out in next stage. Increased popularity might just get you some extra points for them
well ive got galimzyanov, but ive kept swapping EBH and gilbert all tour and had the wrong one each time so wouldnt take my advice
Other than 1 stage, Galimzyanov hasn't done anything for me. Thinking now if I should swap him out.
Roux would cost 2 more but will likely get 4 pts tomorrow by staying 2nd in KOM.
Delage is cheaper but might get 1 pt at best tomorrow from KOM. But there's hope with him of winning some points in intermediate.
Still, any other suggestions?
