Stage 6 La Vuelta

Day six in La Vuelta's baking heat, biggest news this morning is Matti Breschel has withdrawn/abandoned but i dont know why yet, someone will fill me in i'm sure

So fairly average stage today with a Cat 2 kick near the end which should kill off the chances of the sprinters and leave it will the bigger GC guys again today

Not sure i'm liking how this year's course has been laid out, its all about climbs and GC guys in the first week rather than giving the lesser known guys and sprinters a chance to win some points and stages

Whatever i may think, i shall be sitting watching it today from my recliner because during the night i went up the stairs to the toilet and just like normal, i didn't put the stair lights on, coming back down i missed a step and landed in a heap at the bottom, so my newly healed dislocated thumb is playing up and i think i've twisted an ankle 14

Four guys in the break today, they have 2 mins up the road
25 Palomares (ESP, ACG) +51:25
32 Kohler (SUI, BMC) +52:25
45 Saramotins (LAT, COF) +1:12:55
172 Doi (JPN, SKS) +1:13:07

Tits, I took Sagan out last night. Got a few GC men and Chavanel, who looked high up but ITV4 went for a break as soon as Sagan crossed the line so IDK.

Sagan wins i think with Liquigas having 4 outta the top 5, WHAT a move and now arguing at the finish cause Nibali wanted the win, lol. So glad they took Lastaras with them 4 2nd and the points jersey back 4

Huh, sorry, on ITV4, breaks are longer than the bloody coverage. Caught now and Liquigas making a team break!

Not the pace Liquigas are coming downhill, Sagan for the win??

Aye, that's what I thought about Moncoutie. 20 seconds I think now? With Martin setting the pace they might stay away but I doubt it.

Yeah martin, De la fuente, seeldrayers and moncoutie over the top together

Moncountie just wanted the climb points and yeah they'll get swept up, still a day for the big guys the sprinters are all but gone out the back pedalling squares and triangles to get up the last bit of the climb and zig zagging across the road 4

Break swept up, Moncoutie attacking on the climb but I think he'll be swept up on the descent. Tony Martin currently trying to bridge to Moncoutie. Over the top now.

Breschel is a nasty crash by the sounds of it in the neutral zone before the stage at started proper, off for x-rays

Tschopp Abandoned
Vogondy Abandoned
Arvesen Abandoned (saw this one coming as he was in a mess yesterday, sky fb's a pic) http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/313025_10150311744719873_...

Nobody in the break but I reckon it'll be swept up before the climb or overtaken on it by the strong climbers.

I thought he had a good chance of doing something this tour, waiting for Eurosport to start live and tell me why he's out

As for you retiring, i know some people, myself included use their birth year for a user name, so in that theory your 85 19 should have retired years ago 3
