How long before some waste of DNA complains about them on the footpath ... or for Grimsby [and the other shit-tips] to ban them ...
Who says you can't race?

That looks like an excellent way to help people's mobility.
Thanks for sharing
Historical precedent of course...

If folks find it useful... I think road.cc had mention of this before OR they're not the first to put two and three together!
TBH thought it would be more in this vein:

Pro - you're not going to drag / catch a foot, it's way faster. Con you're a cyclist now! You've got to get into and out of it and it's not exactly "fold and stash in a corner"!
As for racing - sod the UCI, they're for those going slowly:

League available! https://www.bhpc.org.uk/
What the aging petrol-head got instead: http://www.allterrainmobility.co.uk/wordpress/an-introduction-to-mobilit...
These are more for people who can't pedal, or have weaker muscles who cannot walk far.
Any way you can actively get around is good.
It's (perhaps) surprising who can cycle though - or who could, if only we facilitated this as eg. is done other places.
