Farrar and Hushovd out the back, wouldn't think Cav will be holding in to well
Ok, it wasn't JJ it was Boaro
Another crash with BMC and Farnese Vini. Santambrogio and Favilli half way up the climb
Everyone over the first climb ok from what it seems, but this next up hill doesn't seem as easy
Anyone else having problems logging onto the Fantasy Cycling site? It's not accepting my login details...
Looks like wasn't JJ. Also, Phinney and others off the other side of the road. It wasn't exactly clear how that happened.
Phinney in a crash again along with Lucas Haedo and another Saxo rider, maybe his brother JJ
Caused by Lucas looking behind him to yap to a AG2R guy and not watching the road, clipped someone in front
I'd be worried that Farrar won't get over the climb, if anything he's just as bad uphill as Cav.
Farrar
Goss
Renshaw
Haedo
Phinney
Demare
Guardini
Navardauskas
Tuft
I've had the winner each stage (including 2 garmin riders yesterday), so looks like Cav isn't going to get over the climb
Its not that flat, There are a couple of smaller climbs, The commentary team reckon it will split that pack and the break might stay away
41.6 km per hour should be possible on a flat stage?!
(I did the maths in my head )
I think Eurosport may have a problem today. 103 km still to go and only 2 hours 30 left of scheduled air time
I hope they don't cut it off before the finish and stay till the end of the stage
I have a full sprinter team as well. Want to see Farrar, Feillu, Bennati in the top 3.
Cav
Farrar
Feillu
Bennati
Navardauskas
Guardini
Demare
Balloni
Soupe
I also need a sprint finish today, Theo's last chance before I drop him for an Italian tomorrow. Will probably lose Chicchi tomorrow too...
Goss, Bos, Farrar, Benatti
Kristoff, Chicchi, Guardini, Meersman
Thomas
Goss
Haedo
Farrar
Phinney
Soupe
Navardauskas
Demare
Lancaster
for me.
banking on a sprint finish cause i'll need some points to tide me over until i can bring in some folks what can climb
Farrar
Feillu
Goss
Haedo
Navardauskas
Beppu
Phinney
Hunt
Boaro
Banking on a sprint finish today.
Gasparatto, or Gatto, might be in my team for tomorrow but I still think the likes of Sky and Garmin or Greenedge might work to bring the break back so they can try and win one of the few sprint-friendly finishes there are. Especially if Cav is dropped on one of the climbs I can see some of the teams with a strong sprinter pushing the pace up and trying to bring it all back together before the end.
My team for today is sprint heavy however alot of them are only a few credits so for tomorrow i still have a lot of credits left to bring in a couple of big guns.
Marco Pinotti (BMC)
Mark Cavendish (SKY)
Geraint Thomas (SKY)
Enrico Gasparotto (AST)
Arnaud Demare (FDJ)
Ramunas Navardauskas (GRM)
Manuele Boaro (SAX)
Andrea Guardini (FAR)
Jack Bauer (GRM)
Still got 19 credits to play with for the bumpy stuff.
I dont think tomorrow will be a mass sprint (I will leave goss in, but cav will go) only maybe some of the stronger sprinters....My tip for tomorrow is an italian im gonna bring into my team
Cavendish
Goss
Thomas
Haedo
Kristoff
Navardauskas
Lancaster
Demare
Guardini
Sprint heavy but I shouldn't have to make any changes tonight leaving me with 4 transfers for stage 7. I'm hoping stage 6 will be a sprint but might use 1 transfer on a breakaway guy tonight, we'll see.
Bennati
Cavendish
Thomas
Lastras
Navardauskas
Rasmussen
Clement
Demare
Izagirre
Took in Bennati last night for the sprint and Izagirre for any break he might decide to get into.
Saving transfers to work on my mountains team. Have 4 just now. I've got my changes planned out already.
