Gorgeous bike. Have you tried that Sugru stuff? Like blu-tack, comes in different colours and 'cures' to form a flexible and apparently durable rubber whatsit of whatever shape you mold it to.

Very nice. And funny you should have that username, I was just poking Google where to get the FSA "F.Gimondi" crankset. 4

Wanted to share this as just finished it last night and feeling a bit chuffed. This is the result of my Wilier Ebay project and I am over the moon with the result. Frame, wheels and components all bought second hand on Ebay apart from things like chain and cables etc. Then custom respray by Ooey Custom, if you google 70s copper wilier you will see my inspiration.

Frame: Wilier Mortirolo Carbon
Groupset: Campagnolo Centaur Carbon
Wheels: Mavic Ksyrium Elite
Pedals: Shimano 105
Saddle: Charge Spoon Titanium
Bar and Stem: Orbea and Whyte
Bar tape: Fizik Superlight
Tyres: Challenge Criterium 23c
Headset Cap and Spacers: kapz.co.uk
Weight: c8Kg

It has taken me over a year by doing it a bit at a time. Of course I could maybe have bought a new bike for the same cost (which I am not revealing) but this was more fun and I wanted a bike with a clean but striking design. I happen to think it is rather beautiful 1

Check out the Ooey instagram page to see their work, some it is amazing. Also the guys at kapz are great if you want some nice finishing touches.

My c. 1986 British Eagle Randonnée I rebuilt last year. The frame, forks, bars & stem are original. The frame and forks were blasted and resprayed the original white. I bought the 501 stickers but had to have the British Eagle Randonnée ones specially made. Tiagra groupset & Shimano 501's (wrongly marked 500) for the running gear. I bought the bike originally from my neighbour for £40. She'd had it from new but never rode it. I used it to commute for years and finally was about to give it away to ReCycle, but couldn't find anything I wanted to replace it with. I'm really pleased with the rebuilt bike - I've done about 1500 miles on it now. I always enjoy riding it.

2014 Tarmac Comp Di2 with new Roval CLX 60 wheels -- This shot was from 150 miles into a 550 mile ride through the White Mountains, Presidential Mountains, and Green Mountains around New England. I have never been so happy to see a hammock at the end of a ride!

I think instead of just having pink bar tape you need to add more pink, dugast (I think make pink tubs) and a pink saddle too

My road bike (very light but a great stiff feely ride). This Cannondale Super6 is a few years old but is very easy to ride and maintain.

I'd been looking for one of these frames for ages, not many about and 100% 'fatta a mana in Italia'. Finished the build a few weeks ago and it rides superbly. Mix of Super Record and Chorus 2015. Weight inc. pedals and bottle cage 6.92kg. Hope y'all like it 1

^that is like the perfect training bike IMO, the only teensy things I'd change are rotate the hoods up a bit (they look slightly downwards but might be camera angle), and also line up the valve in the front wheel to point out straight 41 4 16
