As long as the team they put out for the Tour, Vuelta and other races visiting the Pyrenees and Spain is primarily made up of Spaniards and Basque riders they should be ok, I don't think the Basque fans would be overly bothered about them putting out a team of randoms for tours of Qatar, down under, Bahrain etc.
Agree, its the big tours that will be top heavy in basques. Mind you if the new boys get a bit of success then their popularity will suddenly soar with the locals, they might even reach the heady heights of "adopted"
It seems its come time that they needed to get UCI points rather than Basque riders
So instead of just getting in a few, they have just got half a team of non Basque's. Don't know how its going down in Spain though
It would never have lasted, surprised that it did for so long.
