Gkam....your hard work is appreciated
On Kuurne, is anyone else thinking we might see a bit of Lotto vs OPQS action, given that both of their star sprinters seem to be starting the season in blazing form, and this is their first face-off of the season? Psychological victories and all that.
It's kind of tricky to fit both into a team though...
just a heads up, Tom Van Asbroeck should be part of the selection for Het nieuwsblad too
He, too, can sprint. Perhaps not one for Omloop, though.
Anyway, for the early classics ive just brought in a couple of belgian. Stars, they are for my std team...but not tb, as I think he is out of form.
Boeckmans and Demare appear to be in the start lists, but not selectable for this race. Am I going daft?
I will be updating tomorrow, to make sure I have everyone in, I thought I had Demare, but just checked, nope, he'll get chucked in tomorrow
Great stuff, thanks
That dane hansen looks very promising
Considering Lasse Hansen...looks like he can sprint.
Hansen of Blue Water Cycling fame?
No, the lasse hansen that I was watching sprinting at 60kmph on the tv tonight...
I picked my team the other day, and im not looking at it again until friday, then I will make any final changes if rosters or anything change.
I may have the Spanish Arrow in my team
The "Spanish Arrow" was my first pick for both teams.
Gone for a mixture of AR and DS and the one sprinter.
Does anyone have details of TV coverage in the UK?
I can't see any coverage listed
Spanish Arrow. Like it.
2 then 2.
Purists are allowed to make transfers during unlimited windows.
how does the purist team work guys....is it all 4 or 2 then 2 ?
Understood, just having multiple orgasms looking at those slabs of granite.

This would have been a nice race to double with Bianche.
Look a those killer cobbles, nice, very nice..
I hadn't heard of that race but it certainly looks fun, especially as it features a section of the Appian Way! Bike racing on Roman roads, excellent
As for adding it, I think it's too late. Once a 'race' or collection of races such as this are open it's not possible to add/change stages.
Perhaps one to watch and consider next year.
Gone for consistant performers in these classics
both standard and purist picked!
P.S. Boonen not in any of my teams
Look at the 2010 winner.....
Good old Bobbie
And third last year.
Ive stacked my purist team with sprinters and standard with all rounders, like the spanish arrow.
Procycling stats have a nice team if you look at their top 10 one day racers on the KBK page
http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/1181501-Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne-2013-O...
And all of them are riding this weekend.
Well it seems 5 of those riders are in my standard team and 3 in my purist team
Wiggins isn't ridng though
I would be tempted with Belgian riders or those on Belgian teams or those who live in Belgium or those who were born in Belgium or have Belgian parents.....you get the idea.
People like Matthew Brammeier and Gatis Smukulis
