And that's despite a full house badge for Paris-Nice stage 6 20

I put Poels in to my TIA team as well Alan....we must be both reading Innrng?

There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth on the boards from DrHeaton yesterday as his gamble on DeGendt backfired allowing STEVESPRO 79 to take the lead in the Forum's Scorum's Paris-Nice but I'd still say any of the top 4(STEVESPRO 79,dr Heaton, nickobec or chokofingrz), could take it on Col D'Eze.A good showing from Porte and Spilak(i.e better than Chavanel and Peraud)would look to be all what need to secure the purists title ahead of chrisdstripes challenge.Either way the honours board will have 2 new names on it.

robacairns held on to top spot in Forum's Scorum's Tirreno-Adriatico transferring in the stage winner Froome(I missed him 31 ).Alan Tullett holds a healthy 70pt lead in the purist division but has no real contenders today other than Nibali.

In the Forum's Scorum's overall NeilG83 took his 8th spot back from drheaton and JAndrewHill makes a return to the top 10 at the expense of silas chime in additional to Alan and I swapping places as discussed earlier.
Wig_Billy continues to dominate both standard and purist though and may be going through the 5K badge today?

Back in second Ray 3

Top in Purist overall for TIA, which given that I'm crap at Purist is a miracle!! With Nibali and Kwiatkowski I'm in with a chance of hanging on. Could do with a sprint on stage 6, but it probably won't be. Strange not being able to do transfers. Made transfers for TIA standard and have a good team for tomorrow I hope. Poels or Purito to win. I've got one of those.

Dr Heaton would have thought a 194pt performance would have secured him the Forum's Scorum's Paris-Nice competition with two stages left but a mighty 219 pts from nickobec has kept the Good Dr's lead to just 5 pts.My purist squad extended its lead over Wig_Billy thanks to a pretty impressive 134pts 16

robacairns continues to lead the Forum's Scorum's Tirreno Adriatico but with the mountains approaching he'll have to completely gut his team for stage 4....although to be fair so will all of the contenders so we may see someone shoot up from out of the blue? Alan Tullett leads the purists and will be crossing his fingers for a Schleck miracle(Schleck not as popular as Rohan Dennis in this race!!).

A couple of movers in the Forum's Scorum's overall....I've overhauled Alan Tullett to become closest rival to champion elect Wig_Billy,chrisdstripes leapfrogged livestrongnick into 6th and drheaton's impressive Paris-Nice form saw him pass NeilG83 for 8th spot.silas chime joined the top 10 for the first time lowering obutterwick's colours.
In the purist division Wig_Billy also has a new nearest rival in the shape of Jonas Lorenzen

More lumpy stuff in the Forum's Scorum's Paris-Nice saw a good score of 119 for STEVESPRO79 push him up to 3rd place behind long term 1st(drheaton) and 2nd(JAndrewHill)and it seems the Albasini win caught everybody by surprise.Unbelievably I'm still hanging on to the purist lead by 7pts from Wig_Billy.

Over in Italy robacairns took over the lead from obutterwick in the Forum's Scorum's Tirreno-Adriatico after the first sprint stage.Alan Tullett responded to his Roma Maxima disappointment taking the purist lead.

In the Overall Forum's Scorum's league stevemarks and TERatcliffe both moved up a place pushing livestrongnick down into 6th and obutterwick moved into the top 10 at the expense of JAndrewHill.Wig_Billy still leads both standard and purist but relatively low scores of 76 and 14 respectively gives everyone a bit of a glimpse of his coat-tails.

I think you mean East Anglia. Good to have some competition. I was running away with it until I screwed up Paris-Nice big time 20

There are a few other good players closing the gap as well.

May stop after the Vuelta though as playing well does take up a bit of time.

Sorry yes East Anglia. I am really struggling to get two races done at the same time, making a real hash of the two seas....

It would be a shame if you bailed out after the vuelta but I can understand as I too spend an inordinate amount of time on this damn game.

Good luck Alan. 1

Just checked the East Anglia table and yes, I'm much closer to the two of you than I realised, so hopefully I can be one of the "good players" that provides some healthy competition - bring it on!

Trying to keep my head down and not look over my shoulder always has been a big weakness of mine. Bring it on indeed!

Dr Heaton takes the lead in Forum's Scorum's Paris-Nice as we go into the lumpy stuff by bringing in Talansky at just the right time.ray silvester(ooh...still me)leads the purist division by 4 pts from, yes, you guessed it,Wig_Billy.

The Foirum's Scorum's Tirreno-Adriatico TTT threw up a three way tie between obutterwick, rcorbin and KeejayOV......rcorbin's team is purist so he leads in that too.

Forum's Scorum's Overall Top 10
1 Veelers Wheel Wig_Billy 4143
2 purefantasy Alan Tullett 3658
3 Queens Park Riders ray silvester 3639
4 Rule #5 livestrongnick 3542
5 skidders skeletons stevemarks 3529
6 Ratcliffe26 TERatcliffe26 3479
7 The Pigeons chrisdstripes 3435
8 Mostly Hopeless drheaton 3415
9 Team Sky Blue NeilG83 3354

enrique jumped to the front in Forum's Scorum's Paris-Nice by getting his best EVER stage score of 194pts to win Satge 1 in the entire game.ray silvester(Ooooh....that's me)leads the purists.

As noted elsewhere the Overall Forum's Scorum's league is very tight between 4th-10th place in a table that sees Wig_Billy extend his lead over Alan Tullett and myself. That 4th to 10th fight saw stevemarks and TERatcliffe overtake NeilG83 for 5th and 6th only narrowly failing to haul in ivestrongnick in 4th spot whilst chrisdstripes and DrHeaton pushed obutterwick(penalty points last stage?) down into 10th spot.Wig_Billy is miles out in front of the peloton in the purists section as well.

A devastating blow landed by Wig_Billy in the Roma Maxima saw him overtake Alan Tullett(who managed only 9pts in Rome) and win the Forum's Scorum's early classics and steve marks got his name on the homours board for the first time taking the purist event.

STEVESPRO79 took the Paris-Nice prologue by storm and leads both the standard AND purist Forum's Scorum's 'Race to the Sun'.

No change AT all in the Forum's Scorum's overall!!

Alan Tullett holds a commanding 61pt lead in the Forum's Scorum's Early Classics with just the new fangled Roma Maxima to come but the real superstar must be stevemarks who leads the purists AND is also Alan's closest challenger with that team!! Not bad in a set of races that has seen rosters change as often as Nick Clegg's policies!!

stevemarks' standard team also improved one place to 5th in the Forum's Scorum's overall rankings leapfrogging livestrongnick and DrHeaton entered the top 10 at the expense of JAndrewHill.Wig_Billy didn't have Moser but still comfortably leads standard and purist divisions.

After G.P.Camaiore

Alan Tullett is trying to repeat his early season success in the TDU by leading the Forum's Scorum's Early Classics from start to finish although the G.P stage win from the inevitable Wig_Billy will make him nervous.stevemarks is looking for his first taste of Forum's Scorum's honours by leading the purists.

The Forum's Scorums overall shows no change for the entire top 10.....in fact the best improver was STEVESPRO 79's purist team with a climb of 4 places into 64th on the overall GC.Wig_Billy still leads commandingly in the purist overall with a distant chase pack which includes TERatcliffe,GKam84chrisdstripes,fluffchucker,DrHeaton and NeilG83.

I guess the status quo tends to happen when a hot favourite like Sagan wins a stage.....the next question is can he beat Spartacus on the dusty roads of Bianchi?

I got myself so mixed up that i put my ITT team for Paris Nice in my purist team section 2

But i can't praise it enough, missed the game over the winter and I've hit the ground running walking all over my early performance last year 16

You're not doing that bad Alan...2nd in Forum's Scorum's and 10th in the game(or in the world as Clarkson would say!!)

Perhaps the Procycling stats is the way forward.....or kidnap Wig-Billy for his tips!!

Only used procycling stats for a couple of races after Gkam, I think, gave a link to it. Kidnapping Wig-Billy sounds like a good idea though. How the hell does he do it? At least I got Paolini for Omloop which he missed!

Just made my selection for the Purist and G.P. Camaiore and have a table of the key riders for the other races on a bit of scrap paper. Relying a lot on Procycling stats, a site I haven't used before, but it did ok for Omloop. 3

Now I've got to look at Paris-Nice!! God, it's hard work being a fantasy cyclist 3
