Great race, make sure you watch highlights (was watching RAI via VPS on Italian server).

Poor Pippo Pozzato had no idea Biel Kadri was up the road and had won (no race radios, and the group was coming round Colosseum so not quite in finishing straight).

Pozzato gave it a big victory salute as he crossed the line to take sprint for second. Very sheepish in the post-race interview

Forgot/didn't realise I'd picked Pozzato (confused him with Pozzovivo, who I'd also picked) and Ligthart - so not quite the disaster I was expecting

I've gone for sprinters, and strong guys that can sprint a bit, so could be a good day if a big group gets to the finish, but a disaster if not! All nine are Italian, with names ending in A, O or I...

Purist-wise I just have Reda, Ponzi, Pozzato and Valverde after all the withdrawals.

Looking on the bright side, it looks like all my team actually started, given the various versions of startlists that were floating around yesterday On the downside, I suspect I'm not going to do anything like as well as I did yesterday

I've tried to cover a few bases today. All of my team can sprint a bit, but they have varying climbing abilities.
