I like both of those posts, R.S.

Like the thinking on the transfer front, especially with Thomas flying in the UCI rankings.

As long as he doesn't crash! Not sure about Cav for tomorrow either. I wouldn't rule out Boonen winning it. He said he just made a mistake not eating at the right time. Canc is more for the next two rather than tomorrow. He's never been top 10 in Gent. Oss and Eisel are outside bets if their main guys are nowhere.

I can't imagine a bunch sprint tomorrow....I reckon more likely a select group of tough guys coming to the line and battling it out(Spartacus,Sagan and Thomas 123 for me with Degenkolb just in case).

Every one of my riders is listed for Gent-Wevelgem and Flanders so hopefully I'll only have to use 3 transfers max between the two which will give me free rein to swap the whole team for Roubaix if necessary.

Boonen has said it's all about Cav tomorrow. Mind you, Offredo has revealed the race could be put back until Monday, according to my French sources.

Either way its still all about Cav, Don't think the conditions get to Cav too much anyway

Gone with Cav.

Didn't Roelandts go on the attack yesterday?

I didn't watch it so im not sure, I do know he punctured at one point, so maybe that was why he ended up in the main group? but Bozic is in form so gone with him for now over Roelandts, tomorrow is not the strongest team for me, but we shall see

Wow - 5 of the top 6 in E3 are in my purist team for the classics, shame it wasn't included in the game!

Im taking a risk with my standard but my purist team looks solid with 7 solid choices, including Spartacus

Cav for tomorrow for me (anyone else going this route?)
My biggest decision is Bozic or Roelandts 39

There's just something about Haussler. Standard too. After seeing Stannard at the British Road Champs last year, I got odds of 500/1 on him for Paris-Roubaix. £5 well spent?! Fingers crossed.

If it rains(or worse) then he's a great shou for top5.

Hmmmm! It's a shame there isn't another semi-classic before Gent-Wevelgem which might indicate form. Drat, something maybe on Friday would be ideal. Even better if it was a race that Boonen had won before. Eeeeeeee! 3 days without a race to follow is just too much! Oh well, you'll just have to guess!

I'm leaving Boonen well alone - if he has a good Flanders I'll bring him in for Roubaix, but there are enough other top guys on form that I'm happy with my team without him. Seems crazy though, without the injury he'd surely be the first name on everyone's list!

The Qatar Rule.

Since 2006, if Boonen wins the overall, he also wins Flanders, Roubaix or both.

If he doesn't win Qatar, he doesn't win either.

Not to be taken as an omen for Cav since the rule doesn't hold for just *any* Quick Step rider; Wilfried Kretskens won Qatar in 2007 and nothing since...

My mind is gonna go crazy for the rest of week now 39 So do I go for an out and out sprinter instead or an allround kind of guy 39 He has to stay in my purist

Or, yes. Depends if you see Cavendish going for the title that still eludes him.
