Wiggins is loosing time to his rivals not clawing it back at this rate

Wiggo usually aims fir negative splits though....likely to make time 2nd half 22

2nd for Wiggins (bike change cost him the difference), still think Scarponi, Gesink, Evans, Hesjedal, Inxausti and Nibali will still all go quicker than Wiggins

Remind me to take no notice of your thoughts for the rest of the season whilst playing the game 3

Wiggins really up against it now in GC. Nibali's to lose, I reckon.

I wonder what Chris Froome's making of it?

I don't think it's that said and done ....summit finishes and another ITT TO come 39

There are a lot of doom and gloom people on this site today, Wiggins changed his bike and still took time from Nibali, not as much as he would have wanted, but still time.

He has had no luck this tour but is still just over a minute down.

I agree. Pessimistic outlook is creeping in on here of late. We're only on Stage 9, after all.

Looking at the coming stages with 20 secs up for grabs to the winner Sky need to go back to basics and do what they do best, hammer it at the front and watch as the rest fall by the wayside. Astana dont appear to have the strength in depth so it'll be interesting to see what Nibali does if first Uran, then Henao and finally Wiggins put their foot down, he cant chase all of them.

Agree 100% but to do that they have to stay off the front and let other teams do the chasing ....

Anyone know a website where we can see the split times for today's ITT? would love to study them but can only find the final times.

Already made my transfers for tomorrow (played it safe and should do ok), anyone reckon Battaglin can make it over and win again?

Paddy Power have him as 7/1 favourite.

To be fair I was basing that on the first split...

I'm on the pessimist side, this is a race that Wiggins was only likely to win by a minute or two and he's probably down by at least 3 or 4 minutes on where he and Sky planned to be.

Wiggins isn't a rider accustomed to riding away from a field to put time into his rivals, his rivals are those kind of riders and now that's exactly what he's going to have to do in order to win this race. All along the plan for his rivals was probably to force Wiggins to ride their race and not his, now his only chance of winning is to do just that.

That being said, now is the ideal time to put £10 on Wiggins to win 4

Interesting, I knew Wiggo would be on mechanical gears, but he's on a standard Dura Ace chainset, NO O rings.... 39 39

Might regret not picking Dowsett after I mentioned him above but at a penalty transfer for Visconti he'd need to podium (25 points or more) to make it worth it as it'd be a penalty transfer to him in, another to get him out plus guaranteed jersey points for Visconti.

I tried to only bring in TTer's that would be useful for upcoming stages......Durbridge the only luxury pick and he'll come out tomorrow(probably for Sammy Sanchez).

Impressive from Dowsett though.....unlucky chrisdstripes!!

I have to stop not picking my tip just because they're cheap. Went Ferrari over Gavazzi on Thursday just because I had the funds, and did the same today with Phinney over Dowsett. Was unlucky on Weds, but apart from that I've made some crap decisions this week!

Well I give up on today, need a Hesjedal/Wiggo 1-2 and Santambrogio to pull something out now.
I had Phinney from day 1 so can't complain about that but should have gone Dowsett over Sergent

Phinney 2:12 behind Dowsett? 20 Knew I should have shuffled for a few extra credits and gone for Beñat.

I have:
Evans
Durbridge
Phinney
Kelderman
Svein Tuft
Danielson
Dowsett
Tanel Kangert
Tobias Ludvigsson

If I'd done my research I'd have probably not have had Phinney, in favour of Sergeant and Boaro (for Ludvigsson). I haven't really been following so didn't know about him having a fever.

According to Diretta, the first starter Bobridge started 10 mins later than planned, so if you have a list of start times I think you should put them all back 10 mins.

Made a couple of changes for today but also making sure i can make easier changes for tomorrow. 20 penalties points today also. Not overly confident in today as after the last couple of days i'm not sure there are any obvious riders for today!? Although thinking Evans is looking farely sharp at the moment 26

Wiggins (for Viviani)
Tuft (for Paolini)
Intxausti (Di Luca)
Ludvigsson (for Cattaneo)

Aru
Visconti
Pirazzi
Santambrogio
Weening

Made all my transfers as soon as the transfer deadline changed yesterday. Was kinda fool hardy but worked out ok. Could've gone crazy with more penalty points but felt i'd only be bringing riders in i'd have to get rid of tomorrow for more penalties.
