2013 Criterium du Dauphine Stage 1

Ok folks its time to start racing again.

Stage 1 is only 121 kms however we have 4 categorised climbs, 2 1st, a 2nd and the final 3rd with the last 6km all uphill before it flattens out.

With the wealth of quality in the field i doubt there will be many similar teams and if you get it right for stage one you could be in the driving seat for the whole comp.

Good luck to all 4

If that holds my std is off to a decent start for some breakaway points ....

Is there any live video feeds that you know of ? Apparently tennis is more interesting to watch via Eurosport 14

Bloody eurosport had the cycling listed as live last week but they now have both their channels covering the tennis with highlights of the cycling at 10.30 tonight. 14

Kept changing my mind about whether the first 2 stages would be too tough for Meersman/Gavazzi etc, and in the end decided they are. As with a lot of teams, could be really good, but equally likely to be really bad - looking forward to seeing who gets it right today!

I can't see stage 1 being as 'sprinty' as some seem to think so maybe I've dropped a rick?

Standard for stage 1

Kwiatkowski
Sanchez
Cunego
Fuglsang
Elissonde
Hoogerland
Fonseca
