I'm so glad m not the only person struggling with this race
Was so looking forward to this but the profiles have really thrown me...
In a state of utter confusion.... both standard and purist teams might just as well jump into a bath of EPO..and be done with it....
Like many others, I've had a poor start. Brought in a sprint specialist(ish, anyway) quintet for tomorrow (cue three random domestiques on the podium), then will take a hit on the penalty points for the TT. Have to get Froome in for that.
I've not seen any of this race at all, just followed it a teeny bit on Twitter in spare moments at work. Still utterly clueless about who'll take GC; finger-in-the-air I'll pick Froome, but who knows?
I did predict that the gloves wouldn't come off for the big boys until the ITT but hey....you'd have had to be Nostradamus(or perhaps Wig_Billy)to predict Veilleux and then Viviani!!
So....Riders beginning with V.....12 to choose from!!
I've made NO changes and its costing me big time.
I wasn't paying attention to this one, because I'm scoring this and setting up and scoring TdS....
Then I was setting up TdF
I just need ONE GT stage this season to win something for all my hard work, because I am taking NO payment
Thanks to my total lack of planning I've totally fluked 19th overall at the minute (scores of 145 and 127) and because I didn't make any changes I've picked up another 'High Roller' badge as I'm 9th in the purist league
Don't know whether to start paying attention now I've had a good start and go for the win or just to keep winging it and see what happens.
Keep winging it because apparently trying to plan anything is like the 2nd week of the Giro .....
Took Meersman out so I'm now full on gambling another 20 point penalty for tomorrow and Wednesday for me
That's so funny (!). I hate you. In a good way.
I'm currently 24th overall, hoping for a good one 2moro to try and get that elusive high roller badge. Just wish I had froome the first day, would of been sorted.
Scores coming up soon
2&8
Just 2 & 6 for me
Hey! Look at the bright side! You got Fonseca, a 3.0 rider to score for you
Why did Chertnesky come 21st and what happened to Slagter
just 2,6,13 and 14 for me shocking

Shocker for my team
Changes required for tomorrow!
You aren't the only one , I'm reading these stages so badly it's unreal
And to think I left Gerrans in for today What a useless ***** of ****! Meersman for today, I can understand, but I never expected a Viviani win today... Is it we're not reading the stages right or are the riders f***ing with us? My Dauphine is done already... Excuse the language, ladies...:)
I blame you because I'm premium and can bank transfers which I was aiming to do but so far I've made 8 changes in two stages
That's the funniest thing I've heard all day... It almost lifted my mood... Thanks!
30km left?
Sounds like they started really early today.
Its on Eurosport 2 now 30km left
Hoping for a Meersman/Gavazzi 1-2
Cheers Dude!saves pissing around with proxies

Result of KOM at côte de Mons (cat. 4), km 120.5:
1. Thomas Damuseau (ARG),
2. Arnaud Gérard (BSE),
3. Rudy Molard (COF),
Thomas Damuseau virtually leads the KOM competition with 41 points. David Veilleux follows with 40
The advantage of the leaders is on the down: 4 minutes at km 122
anyone got a live feed??
I just bought Veilleux in for Hoogerland as I reckon he'll collect points today and tomorrow thanks to the GC/KOM/Pts classification......even if it looks like Damuseau will overtake him in the KOM class.
Just the kind of cheapo guaranteed pts I was hoping for freeing up a few more credits for the ITT.
I'm liking Samu and The Little Prince today but then I always do when I see a descent finish(Thor the big threat!!)
Froome
Kwiatkowski
Sanchez
Cunego
Veilleux
Fonseca
Fuglsang
Elissonde
Barhane
I've kept it the same - sticking with my assertion that the finish could be fairly tough, and no obvious candidate to bring in. Its a case of fingers crossed for today/tomorrow and save up transfers for the TT...
Result of the KOM at côte de Mornex, km 74.5:
1. Thomas Damuseau (ARG),
2. Arnaud Gérard (BSE)
3. José Mendes (TNE),
The time between the four leading riders and the peloton is 4.30 atop the côte de Mendes.
Kept it as the same, thought getting 3 in the top 10 wasn't too bad to be honest, including the youth jersey. Yes Gerrans finished 10 minutes down, however he is one of those riders where it doesn't matter what he did the stage before so could feature today, and today shouldn't be as tough as yesterday, so I hold out hope for Gavazzi too.
Valverde
Meersman
Gavazzi
Gerrans
Slagter
Voss
Fonseca
Berhane
and one other who I can' remember
