I can't see any coverage listed on sky anywhere either
Normal BS from Sky, they don't know what other teams had planned, It may have been early, but not so early to shed people out the back and make them chase on the rest of the stage. Then drop them again up the first cat.
I notice it says on the TdS website that in the UK, Skysports have the broadcasting rights. I didn't see it listed anywhere though
From Team Sky
Sunday’s stage has been shortened to 116km and will no longer contain the early hors-categorie ascent of the Nufenpass due to heavy snowfall at the summit. The stage will now commence in Ulrichen“Even though the Nufenpass is a HC climb, it was never going to prove decisive coming so early in the stage,”It’s going to be a far faster and more aggressive stage as a result because the route now descends all the way towards the first category climb to Crans-Montana.
