Just recent comments on the homepage and comment count to go now, and then everything will be back to how it was...
Definitely something to with cookies on my android phone. Clear them for that site and refresh the page, and it works - just the once.
If you open it in a Private Window / Incognito Tab* it should work. Something to do with cookies or some such.
* AKA "porn mode"
