It was actually a bit of pavement, Joyce.
And for those out there who are hard of thinking, this pretty much is the definition of vigilantism, not making a digital recording of visual evidence for submission to the forces of law and order.

Which has quotes from the neighbours showing it might be a war over parking rather than on parking.
"I'm glad something has been done but I would not have been so extreme."
And so it begins
The first point to my mind is that a large reason this has happened is precisely because of articles like this concocting a "War on parking".
The second most obvious point is "Just a bit of public road"...
That was the bit I found 'funniest' - "just a bit of public road", as if she thinks that so long as it is not someone's driveway or garden then she can dump her car wherever she wants (even on a footpath).
