I Googled "mahle x35 tools".
https://www.modernbike.com/product-2126329933
Then a search for ebikemotion x35 tool found a little closer to the UK.
https://www.stdistribution.ch/shop/ersatzteile-accessoires/55838-x35-mot...
Not sure why it says the manufacturer is Orbea, though.
Thank you so much! I have no idea how I've missed those, been Googling numerous options but never come up with those, don't know why. That is so helpful, really appreciate it. All the best.
(Unfortunately now got to find someone who ships to UK, neither of those will!)
If you're really in a bind, you can Paypal me and I'll ship to the UK for my actual cost. I'm in the US and have ordered from Modern Bike before a couple of times. They're under 300 miles from me (practically next door, here.)
That's so kind, I really appreciate the offer - I have pals in Washington D.C. who are coming over for a visit early June so if I can't find a supplier I'll have them sent to them. Thank you though, very good of you.

2. Nick Freeman

There's always one... (it's often me...)

Hey Rendel. How did you go servicing the freehub on your X35? Mine is starting to wear and already a bit lose. I was looking at the same spanner set but wondered how serviceable the hub is? Any tips would be greatly aprechiated.
I'm trying to work out if I attempt a clean and regrease (maybe replace the sealed bearings) or just replace the freehub body with a new one like this
Hi, as far as I'm aware the freehub isn't really serviceable, it's a sealed unit like the picture you show there. I bought one of those and the spanners from cycle-street.co.uk (took quite a while to arrive as had to be ordered from Spain and one shipment went missing, about five weeks in all). Once you have the spanners it's simplicity itself, the video on this page shows exactly how it's done:

Good luck!
No problem, ordered a spare freehub and the tool. Hopefully the sealed bearings can be replaced.
