The lights are going out next weekend. Or the clocks are going back, or forward, or something.
The long and short of it is, it's going to be darker, and colder, and more difficult to ride soon.
It's going to take more motivation and more commitment to climb into your saddle and breathe in that frigid air than it did a month ago, and a whole lot more than it did the month before that.
But not yet.
This is the penultimate weekend of British Summer Time, things are about to change, and we think you better make the most of the daylight while you've got it. We certainly will.
Some of youhave jetted off to warmer climes this week. Maybe that's a little escapism before the frozen onslaught of November through to March.
Regardless as to where you are, whether it's warm, mild, or already freezing, we want you to have a think while you're on your bike this #mycyclingweekend about what's gonna keep you coming back for more this winter.
Tell us in the comments section at the end of this piece, or with a photo on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.
Maybe it's your friends, the strangely intimate relationship you have with your bike, or some masochistic tendencies, tell us about it - but please don't make us censor anything, PG stuff only people.
Make sure you include the #mycyclingweekend hashtag, or else your photo will be lost forever in the maelstrom that is the social web.
Have a great weekend, and we're looking forward to hearing all about it on Monday.
It's useful to practice this at home with your on-bike kit so you know how it all works before needing to in the wet and cold.

Front page of the local rag, earlier in the week. How careless of the driver to let their car do that.
Hmm... sounds like the usual "over-reaction due to previous under-reaction". (Think Waverley station here has also banned these?)...
