We think our first picture of this #mycyclingweekend round-up in partnership with Cycle Surgery not only looks fantastic, it sums up so many of the reasons we ride our bikes every weekend.
Our bikes would be nothing without us. Their stunningly simple mechanical beauty, a beauty that's stood the test of time and technological advancement would be wasted. Lost.
Leonard Lee, this week's #mycyclingweekend winner, appears to agree with that sentiment and managed to share it with us incredibly eloquently via his tweet below. You're right Leonard, your bike isn't going to ride itself!.
Leonard wins a Mavic Tshirt and some great Muc-Off bike cleaning bits courtesy of our friends over at Cycle Surgery. If you're reading this Leonard, fire your details over to us via the email we've sent you via a direct Twitter message!
Where and why were the rest of you riding this #mycyclingweekend? Well, for starters our man Stu Kerton used this #mycyclingweekend's fantastic weather as an excuse to get his first test ride on the Tifosi SS26 in. If the bike rides as beautifully as it looks, we're all in for a treat when the review lands.
The spring-like weather certainly made for excellent riding conditions, but the new light it shone on some of the drab winter views we've become accustomed to certainly brought the photographers out in you lot. Check out these views and stunning photographs that came joint runners up to Leonard Lee's brilliant selfie.
Of course, it's not simply the stunning views and great riding conditions that get you guys out on the road every #mycyclingweekend. Jason Brim just had to get back in the saddle after being held prisoner by illness for a week. He says there's no better feeling than getting back out and riding, we think Twitter user @SwimBikeBimble agrees too - it seems going off the beaten path is what gets him going though.
Another Twitter user, and frequent #mycyclingweekend participant, Jenny Ondioline went riding for a good cause this weekend. Jenny and her friends were spreading the word for the London Cycling Campaign's most recent petition for the next Mayor of London to commit to more space for cyclists, Mini-Holland cycling-friendly town centres in every London borough, and an end to lorry danger.
If you're interested in signing the petition, follow this link right here.
There were others of you out there who went riding this weekend for that bittersweet agony of pushing your legs to the absolute limit. Steven Limmer, Danny Roubaix, and Nicola Noble pushed themselves particularly hard this #mycyclingweekend - special mention to Mr. Roubaix's 150km Saturday followed by a spin around Newport's velodrome on the Sunday. Ouch.
Elsewhere Sundays CC on Instagram took to the cobbled Arenberg Forest, Almero Barnard had a "quick ol'dirty session" with a fabulously accompanying selfie, and Instagram user @fatblokeinlycra found the holy grail while out on his #mycyclingweekend ride:
We're not sure about you, but after such an intense #mycyclingweekend, we're all in need of a bit of refueling.
It's not too late to get involved though, there'll be another Cycle Surgery competition next week, to get involved in that one remember to include the #cyclesurgery hashtag as well as the usual #mycyclingweekend one. Twitter, Instagram and Facebook are the places to post your photos!

Police Scotland seem very poor when it comes to enforcement against motoring offences. The road policing is also poor from what I see.
