Just makes sense to have a camera on the bike http://www.highonbikes.com/special-offers/clearance-items/cycliq-fly-6-h....
Using this, the passenger and driver would now be facing prosecution.
Sadly it's probably more worrying that these things now get passed on via digital media. I had a group of motorbikes try to scatter off my bike in the 70's. 20 years ago a friend had a car passenger lean out and grab his rucksack (amazingly he didn't fall) and I had a van passenger lean out of the window and discharge a replica 45 blank firing gun at almost point blank at me. My concern is that these things may escalate when they get published/shared.
Just a thought. In no way condoning this. Just trying to point out that there have been f@ckwits forever.
True. There's a lot of people now who seek validation- the whole "it didn't happen unless there's footage on Instagram " attitude, or whether their followers liked it.
Back in the day, you'd tell your equally brain-dead mates about it down the pub, but nowadays you can share it with the world "for the lols". And there is a risk that this will encourage a certain type of person to go to greater and greater lengths...
