Especially if you can't find someone to buy yours first…
Lance Armstrong last week dropped the asking price on his Dripping Springs estate from $12m to $10.5m in a bid to get things moving.
If you've got the dosh and you'd like to live in Texas here's what your money buys you…
- 447-acres,
- seven miles of hike-and-bike trails,
- Hill Country views and;
- 1,886 feet of frontage on the Pedernales River,
You also get Dead Man's Hole, the famous natural swimming pool Lance wrote about in his memoirs
And then there's the house…
Five bedrooms, five bathrooms and 4,241 square feet. The swimming pool is one of those fancy negative-edge pool jobs, fire pits, outside living and dining areas and a recreation building with a full bathroom. Hey, and don't forget that kitchen!
According to the ad for the property Lance has had the property cleared of underbrush and has paved the roads to the property.
Not sure why he's moving, poss with the birth of his new son, Max, there aren't enough bathrooms… or maybe it's to get away from the neighbours who accused him of polluting the area when he was building it.
Lance has two other houses one in Aspen Colarado and the other in Austin Texas.

fnnar fnarr....dead man's hole...snigger snigger...
That's a huge mansion he has there, why would he wanna move? In Lance's money he talks about millions like we talk about thousands. I don't think it's gonna be a problem for him to find a movers to get this done with.
yep, type in 'dead mans hole, Texas' or Dead man's hole if you want to be correct - either way it's top of the list
Wonder what the point of clearing underbrush is. Maybe it is less likely to catch fire? Sounds like he removed valuable wildlife habitat to me.
Can it be found on Google Maps?
