Hello guys
I had same problem yesterday.Started flashing by itself and after put on charger I coulndt switch it on.
I left the oyster card in where u reset the light(u can find on you tube where to put the oyster card).I pushed in full and I left it in for 10-15 min.
And I left all infront of the fan heater.
I pulled ou the oyster after 15 min and it started to working.
Hope this will help somebody and save money as well.

Lezyne - so, I'm a bit old school and have just fitted the mudguards, perhaps that's why I've not had a damp induced problem. My real bug bear is the absence of a proper bracket. Does one exist? Or do I need to be forever checking if the light is pointing off at an angle?
Had one two years. Does the daily commute every day, with a charge in between. I've never had any problems at all, just screw the back cap on tight after every charge.
Had mine for over two years, use it almost every day, run it in daylight to. Never had an issue with it. I do run a clip on mudguard from October to march which keeps the worst off I suppose.

I've been having the same problem with my Lezyne rear light and as it is now getting dark earlier thought I'd try to find a fix, found this thread and did as it said wit the card and it works can now turn on the light.
Just to balance it out, mine's still going strong and that's after 18 months of near-daily use, in all weathers too.
Genuinely couldn't fault it from a quality perspective, Lezyne's Micro Caddy saddle bags are another matter though!
I have had two micro drives replaced and am now the proud owner of an unresponsive one. I've also had to have a macro drive and zecto light replaced.
I dealt with Upgrade as the shop I bought the Micro from went bust. They were decent but I didn't get a response about the final Micro dying.
FWIW I have their KTV lights as backups and they are excellent to have flashing when my normal ones are solid. I do like Lezyne stuff but I don't buy it because it's reliable.
Hi. Can see this is an old thread so not sure if it's still being viewed.
I've had 3 rear lights (2 of different design) that have all failed within days or weeks. Flashing doesn't stop then the battery empties / won't charge. The 3rd today has just failed, it's flashing as I speak. I've tried the credit card to break the circuit. Yes it breaks but when it reconnects - it just flashes again and won't stop. I guess it's kaput.
No problem with the fronts but 3 rears in one month? Complete crap these lights - especially at this price. Amazon reviews points to the same issues...no idea how they get away with selling these.
Anyone know how to fix this before the flashing stops and from thence have no diagnostics?

I had one of these before it fell off
i have had one for about 1 and a half years which is a long time in my opinion for a bike light but it packed up a week ago. it just wont turn on no matter how long that you charge it.
Mine's absolutely fine. It's been soaked numerous time and there isn't even a sign of water ingress. I just make sure the cap is screwed on all the way after each charge.

Mine's the newer version with the revised seat post mount too, so no concerns whatsoever about it popping it on the commute home.
My Zecto suffered the same fate. I've sent it back once for a replacement, but won't bother again. One bit of rain and it became toast...
Took the cap off mine last Saturday and it started to release sparks, then a filthy chemical smoke.
Proceeded to get very, very hot. So hot in fact, that I dropped it. Put it outside to cool down overnight, and unsurprisingly, didn't light up in the morning.
Returned to the retailer, and waiting for a warranty replacement.
Had, however, been impressed with battery life (lasted on hi flash mode for an 8 hour ride), durability and water resistance. Oh, and it's bloody bright as well.
Only annoying thing is the propensity for the mount to fill up with road silt and grime, which is difficult to clean out for someone like me, who's definition of a bike clean extends no further than a quick hose and wipe.
Apparently, sliding an oyster card between the battery and end cap disconnects the circuit and resets it. I didn't (couldn't) try this on my failed model, but might suggest that you try something similar.
as in just above the usb charger port?
and will any card with a magnetic strip work?

If you look, you can actually see the battery just above the threads for the cap.
Slide anything in to break the circuit, oyster card works well.
Wouldn't want to short it so probably nothing with a magnetic strip. (Oyster cards just have a thin wire within the card... no mag strip).
Obviously an old thread, but helpful info on resetting with a card, worked for me.
Pretty sure it'll have been user error rather than any of those factors. Those things do not budge if you click them in properly.
Count yourself lucky. A combination of wet weather, grime and London's bumpy roads meant mine fell off on a commute home, never to be seen again.
