STAGE 2:
Like I said above I proceeded to make just the one change Hepburn > Boris Vallee, he is = top with Nibali on 6pts for PTS jersey. Has lost 8mins so can ride break. Also for back-up if he came 7th behind Nizzolo and Ferrari in similar stage earlier in year, in case he doesnt make break.

Good Luck All
OMG, I can't wait for the Giro' to start.LOL
I am living a nightmare.
Orica success brings joy tho and so Happy for Alba he is such a loyal and reliable team member, tries so hard all the time , well deserved.
Excuse my ignorance players.
Are the green PMU markers on profile map the PIONTS jersey markers?
Hard to tell from yesterdays HALF stage.
I think so yes. There was deinitely a sprint point in the last 10km or so yesterday that Nibali went through.
Thank you Chris for your time and effort.
Its's a tough day again and if I sell the 2 riders I want to sell, Hepburn and DVP(who i feel may be in a break today) I still can't afford to get NIZZ, who looks suited here if bunch finish.
So I will think I will just sell Hepburn and try to get a break rider chasing pionts.Saving a extra trade for MTN tomorrow.
I am also sure there will be a rather STRONG break today that may go th distance, with riders such as Visconti,Morton,Pauwels, NORDHAUG in there. I will now be hoping Gaudin, DVP go along for the ride, not sure how much protection he can offer Ziodl.lol
P.S.
I notice your Pidgeons are flying very close to the sun.lol
Great effort, love ya work and with TJ to go on attack later in MTNS and bring home TT, you gunna give it a good shake. Good luck
6th on the stage, will take that...although should have gone with my gut and gone Herrada not Gautier, but hey ho
The only good thing to come out of today for me was a 5 point bonus for Hepburn in the 3.0 comp.
Oh dear
Updated them again, it has worked this time, you are joined 1st
8th on stage after 2nd yesterday so might well be leading, can't tell at the moment as the overall scores don't seem to include yesterday's results. Enjoying this week tho, hitting form in time for the giro!
Try not to peak too soon! No danger in that for me- more like I'm having my Andy Schleck period...
I've been playing fantasy football, at altitude, since I was a kid. So just waiting for a Henao-esque investigation...
Yeah, I'd just noticed that - bit weird. Anyone poked Dave about it?
Can't say I'm enjoying this week - doing shite Still, I had a decent few weeks in the Catalunya, Vasco and Trentino as far as FSUCI points go, so I suppose I shouldn't complain.
Todays winner is
1 redskyranger 118
About to do the scores....
Here we go:
I love this site!

This is like Tirreno Adriatico all over again
#TdR2014
1. Albasini
2. Herrada
3. Navardauskas
4. M Iglinsky
5. Talansky
6. Brandle
7. Costa
8. Hivert
9. Thurau
10. Voeckler
Victory for Albasini!
Albasini takes it from a very reduced bunch - oh and he's in both my teams!
Herrada, Navardauskas, Iglinsky close behind...
1,8,12 for both teams shouldn't be too bad as it was quite a random top 10, although a lot of people seemed to have Navardauskas yesterday, good shout there.
I hate you...
Sold Bobridge and Tuft.
Really wanted to get Mezgec as he is in great form, but didnt have 3.0 left. So i split and went 2 mid chances in Juan Jose Lobato and Danny Van Poppel.
Good Luck all.
sprint heavy pour moi!
Kittle
Nizzolo
Mezgec
Kwiatkowski
Hofland
Ferrari
Mohoric
Xu
Guillemois
Kittel, Hofland and Gatto in for me to replace Izaguirre, Dennis and Zoidl.
After a poor start yesterday made few changes brought in Costa and Mezgec!
Hoping for a reduced sprint for the AR's/punchiers
Still don't really know what to expect today, will it be a sprint, or will the shortened stage lead to an increased pace on the climb and see a few sprinters dropped? Expecting the former, but didn't see the logic in taking pens so just a couple of changes...
Kwiatkowski
Dennis
Sergent
Kittel
Nizzolo
Albasini
Kern
Hivert
Gaudin
Nearly brought in Kenny Dehaes for Sergent but erred on the side of caution...
Stage 1 is just a short 90km
Due to no big climb.....I've had to take 30 pen points
I wouldn't bother with penalties, its still going to be a tough stage. Most likely come down to a sprint now with the huge climb in the middle out.
As for TJV, he can go and do what he wants now, I think he'll have free rein, but it all depends on who goes with him in a break. If it is a bunch of no hopers, he'll be let go.
I think Nerz might be BMC number 1 now
Lets hope TJV chases a KOM Jersey and Stage win as consolation. He needs to be aggressive to get some hard KM's in...IMO.
P.S. Not this stage of course.
