I think this is where you are getting a little confused.
You can have a forum account without being part of the fantasy game, these are not connected.
Premium players pay for the game, not the forum. So the professional part you refer to would come into effect regards the game, shop and maybe the reviewing parts.
Blogs, forum and the news stories are where like minded people get the opportunity to discuss, have opinions and comment. These in my eyes are two separate entities. I would say in those threads you were sailing close to the wind with some of the comments.
I do understand where you are coming from, requesting an official explanation.
Again I appreciate your response and yes possibly was confused about payment, however as you stated forum is for discussion close to the wind or not .
Anyway part of my request is answered so once the ban length and post have been sent to me the matter is resolved
People muted recently include:
chiv30: deliberate trolling
northstar: objectionable language
our professional responsibility is to all users, and to making sure road.cc is an attractive place for all users. we can, and will, take action to ensure that it remains that.
so far as we're aware access to the forum is free, and there are no premium members to it.
Is this Dave?
Tyvm can you please mail me to point out where this was and if the ban is permanent or not ( however I think it's in relation to mooleurs rant which if you read it you would see she took it as intended and wasn't upset over it)
However I'd still appreciate the exact posting and length of ban , cheers
After all this time, I would seem that you have been muted, I don't know that officially, but I am guessing that it is a temporary measure and would be reversed. I have no idea, if that is the case, I would have banned the account rather than muting.
I would point you towards these three threads for you to read your own comments and see if that is the kind of conduct that the owners of this site really want on their forums?

There are opinions and then there is going on and on and on over the same issue once the official comment has been made.
I'd suggest the banning of a premium account without an explanation would be a legally grey area considering no actual rules have been breached.
I'n regards to the threads you have posted , again no rules were breached just one person's opinion on the shady goings on by a number of ppl affiliated/ running the site .
As for what the owners want , I'd think it was a professional outfit where customer service is relevant to a prosperous business model, surely as a businessman yourself you would see that?
But again I have to thank you for at least contributing to this even though you can't do anything about it.
Of course the simple resolution would be for Dave to respond privately or publicly to actually provide the issue behind the muting of the account , once that happened the matter would be resolved as that's all that has been requested

Ahhh but where would the fun be in that?
Still it seems the admin at least liked your comment
id mute you if i could :P...............
