I'm dropping like a stone.
Call me Cadel if you wish.
Not bad - had Albasini in the break, Swift and Sagan at the finish, plus 15 points for Tony Martin. My other transfer was Cancellara - was probably going to bring him in for tomorrow anyway but thought there was half a chance he would have a go today. Would've been better off keeping Modolo as it turns out, but it could just as easily have worked out really nicely.
Right - best check which TTers are left, I've not really been paying attention this week!
Edit - make that 20 points for Tony, he came in 16th as well!
Martin got 2 points on the last cat 3

Guardini hasn't been the same since he left Barcelona.
Don't worry Joelsim, just that it may be better to put "i Think" or according to sources when you post such definitive statements can be taken wrongly. I have learned to trust nothing that I read, although Having Guardini in my purist team would suggest otherwise. lol.
Cycling News ticker.
It didn't actually say 'Trentin', it said Cav's teammate abandoned and as he came in with Trentin I assumed that it was him.
Terpstra didn't start. Trentin evidently did
Which source were you listening to today? I really hope it wasn't Peleton watch giving out the wrong information, I quite like them.
Trentin wins Swift right up there, Both reported as DNS in this thread, lol !
His twin brother.
The same source said Swift had abandoned.
Swift still there
Dropping like flies now....Marycz abandons
Moser too......any one of those 3 could have been picks today(Nick and Joel have declared for Swifty )
It looks as if there's some confusion regarding Swift.......still in there it seems?
Swift and De Haes abandon.
And NO points for an official summit finish apart from for finishing positions and competition standings.
That would mean that a cat HC, cat 1 and a cat 2 in Suisse would all be 5,4,3,2,1 which seems a bit odd.
If so, it's a bit odd of the TdS organisers. Normally you'd expect more riders to score, the higher the category of mountain, as well as more points for the leader over the climb.
Pretty sure it means that if 5 riders score points in the race itself then 5 riders score in the fantasy game...5 for 1st,4 for 2nd,3 for 3rd,2 for 4th and 1 for 5th man over regardless of the actual points scored in the race itself?
eg for a cat 2 climb in the race, riders score 8,6,4,2,1 ie 5 riders score so in the game, they will receive 5,4,3,2,1 fantasy mountain points. For a cat 4, both real and fantasy points are 3,2,1 etc.
Sure was. Looks like the majority of the top teams in the .cc standings have Albasini in for today.
Can anyone enlighten me on the KOM points for today as I find it quite difficult to work out based on 'The number of scoring riders on a KOM climb is the maximum number of points available. So if five riders score, the first rider will receive 5 points down to 1 point for the fifth rider'.
That means nothing to me.
The six men out front are Lloyd Mondory (AG2R La Mondiale), Laurent Didier (Trek Factory Racing), Simon Clarke (Orica GreenEdge), Benjamin King (Garmin-Sharp), Jacopo Guarnieri (Astana) and Daniel Teklehaimanot (MTN-Qhubeka)
That was the first effort......reeled in
