I might get a first hand view of the cruel side of the new transfer rules tomorrow morning. I'm leading by 20 points before the last stage, I've got two sprinters in my team and two transfers left, and yet, if my calculations are correct , my chances of winning the competition are pretty slim... guess who might be ranting about the bloody new rules by this time tomorrow

I only had one transfer left but already had Wippert, Boni and Lobato in my team. Put Kittel in but it was a struggle to take any of the GC boys out. Impey went eventually. #guaranteedpoints

I like the new transfer system, 5 stages down in the TDU and for the last stage i have 4 transfers left with 2 sprinters already in my team so i'm happy about that.

137 points three stages in a row. Scary. There should be a prize.

I find having penalties stops me becoming trigger happy.

I prefer the new transfer system but then I enjoyed it in last year's skoda tdf

New transfer policy not conclusive yet, I think. Due to the alternation of stages in the TDU (sprint/hard-men-sprint/summit-finnish/sprint/summit-finish/sprint) I pretty much did the changes I would have normally done. 2nd overall so far, but that is as high as I'll go, I think, cause I've sort of messed up two transfers I should have kept...

yeah so far so good, got 6 transfers left with a good GC/Climbers mix for today.

looking forward to tonights stage though, got mainly climbers in my team and 4 transfers left.

Found tonight's changes quite tricky and think I may have overcooked it by a transfer, but we'll see.

Damn, missed the stage win by 1 point... Had I taken out of my team Meersman instead of Samuel Dumoulin last night, that single extra point would have been mine...
