Bother!!! Went Slagter & Barguil rather than Alaphilippe & Moreno...
1,2,3,4,5...20
Best result I've had yet
That looks like a stage winner to me!
Only 2nd this time unfortunately!
A race of attrition... 100 riders of the 200 started didn't finish the race...
The 'Best' and the 'Worst' of teams:
Both Astana and AG2R La Mondiale had 7 riders finish
Preben Van Hecke (Topsport Vlaanderen - Baloise), 72nd, and Rasmus Guldhammer (Cult Energy Pro Cycling), 88th, were the only ones in their respective teams, to finish the race.
1, 3, 4, 7...
Gave Gilbert the benefit of the doubt, but that backfired. And what happended to Martin?
He crashed. Caught back on but had to expend a lot of effort.

Waited until the last minute to get a classics race right, been a poor performance this year but 1,2,3,4 here is much better and Alaphillipe at 66/1 e/w and Ewan at 22/1 in Turkey e/w makes for a very good day for me. such a shame that one of them didn't make it all the way but Valverde has been outstanding this year.
That's nice!
