Looks like the final week could be a repeat of 2014, Rodriguez vs. Majka off the front in the mountains with the GC guys battling it out in the pack.

i didn't realise the game was "pick the winner of a different stage to the one you're talking about".
Chris Froome for me today then
Awww... no, dave... don't take it the wrong way... It's just relief that he came good... It's not about 'winning'... It's just nice to see a rider I like putting in a good ride and winning a stage after he bonked...
Looks like CyclingQuotes (http://cyclingquotes.com/news/2015_tour_de_france_stage_14_preview/) agree with you for Stage 14...
Thomas is looking strong though, and the weather wasn't great!
Think we'll get a lot more attacks in the alps to be fair, as people aim for stage glory and GC improvement
nothing really but hard to fake that in cycling without real risk to the cyclist who tries it.
Also that was a boring stage eh ? Sky totally dominant, the Alps climbs could be real boring as if you can not burn off a classics rider like Thomas what hope with Froome.
Thomas even beat LA's time up the same mountain in 02 what a domestic to have
Would that be the same Classics rider who won Algarve and got two other top 5s in P-N and Suisse this year? Who was leading P-N last year until he had an accident near the end and finished 22nd in last year's Tour?
Yeah, or maybe team orders...i.e telling a lowly Movistar domestique to take Froome out - like Piquet Jnr in 2008.
Schumacher or Senna like ?
Has a rider ever purposely taken the leader out?

I hope so been watching the whole day on ES and quite boring really .... surely Quintana and Movistar simply have to attack on the last climb ? In fact Contador and NQ should both be doing it
Fascinating after stage 10 that the main contenders gone totally quiet, Froome has this won easy. the other teams lost too many good climbers and not even bothering to attack him anymore.
Agreed - I reckon he's on for the biggest winning margin in history.
he'll need to find a couple more hours of advantage for that
The reigning champion of that record would be Maurice Garin in 1903, with +2h 59' 21" to number two in the race. I agree that he is en route for further distancing himself, but i think that particular record is out of range
Typical, took out Meintjes today
Be hard to bring that lot back
