Have you tried kneeling next to the Tacx and crank by hand? Also a short rubber hose used as a stethoscope on the Tacx nearest the cassette can help determine if the noise is internal or not.
Nope not tried that, worth a go though.
Cranks are hard to turn by hand though or I'm very weak!
Could it be that you don't have the same aliegnment and therefore the indexing is slightly out, as its a direct drive turbo. Just a thought.
Possibly. Wouldn’t that cause poor shifting rather than squeaks though?
