I thought that i must have alwayd 9 active riders to score.
Yeah, the only time you need 9 riders in a race is at the very start, like for the Giro, as soon as the sprints left i pulled the sprinter for the cheapest one who wasn't in the Giro so i could use the credits elsewhere
As long as you have a full 9 at the start of the race, so when it comes unlimited transfers before the TdF, you MUST have 9 riders starting the race who are in the TdF, but after stage one you can change it about

You mean you have 9 riders but 5 aren't in the TdS?
So yeah, just transfer out 4 and have 8 riders in the TdS and all will be fine, you dont need 9 riders in a race to score, but you do need to have 9 riders in your team
