Transfer fees

Am I right in thinking that we get less for selling a rider than we pay when buying them? I.e. we sell a bloke at 9.7 but buy him back at 9.5? Did I imagine that?

If that's how it is then could I work my funds down to nothing by taking advantage of the unlimited transfers and just selling and re-buying my own squad?

Now that you mention it I think mine have done something similar, but I'm sure I was only on about 176 on Wednesday. 7

I think they've been corrected, because Thursday i was sitting at almost 180, then yesterday night i was at 174.9 and not back to 179.9, so i think a mistake was made after Thursdays points were put in

i'd have to explain it again because the logic has changed a bit. but suffice to say it's still quite complicated, and even if a rider has a bonzer day they're unlikely to gain in value by more than about 0.2 credits. same if they have a bad day at the office. And most riders values won't change at all on any given stage.

What's going on with the rider values? Most of my team seem to have increased by 0.2 to 0.7.

Each rider's value changes after each stage according to the rider's current form and popularity (Dave explained the method once but it's pretty complicated), though they've all just been reset. In theory I suppose, over the course of the Tour, you could devalue your team by maybe 5-10 points by transfering in expensive riders, then moving them out when they lose value - but as I said, I think this effect is limited because of the small range of movement in values, and limited number of transfers each day. If you don't pay particular attention, you probably won't lose or gain much either way.

You dont get any fee's 7 Your players value can go up or down depending on results and how many players have them picked

But no fee's, You cant work your funds down at all, you have no control over them
