Well let's see how this team does. . .
Current team value: 160. Your balance: 15.0 credits.
Tejay VAN GARDEREN THR 21.0 GC
Matthew Harley GOSS THR 31.0 PC
Rigoberto URAN URAN SKY 15.0 KM
Philippe GILBERT OLO 40.0 AR
Thomas VOECKLER EUC 25.0 AR
Kristijan KOREN LIQ 3.0 DS
Ramunas NAVARDAUSKAS GRM 4.0 DS
Rob RUIJGH VCD 7.0 DS
Geraint THOMAS
I've taken him out after much teeth nashing. Reveal all at 11.01. I'm second in the perth, fife, tayside league.
Yeah 30 mins and i'll let folk see my team, i'm 2nd in Aberdeenshire but behind by nearly 200 points and only like 80 ahead of you
Eurosport is now LIVE
its not
Horner, Renshaw, Duque, Boonen, Chavenal, Bozic, Vaitkus, Tjallingi and Dave Brailsford but with a change to DB, its not a bad squad - i might chnage it.
SKY, VCD, COF, THR, THR, MOV, KAT, GRM, OLO in no particular order
Staggered that you worked out uran and thomas.
At least one guess was wrong, my secret weapon, that I picked after in depth analysis of similar stages in the Dauphine
If the they are in the correct order then your secret weapon could be the lithuanian Vaitkus (i wanted him but credits ment i couldnt), or it could be the dutchman being Ruijgh
If it aint in the correct order your frog could be your sprinter and me the pocket rocket dumoulin
I'm not bothered if anybody finds out my picks cos they either score big or zilch. It is 2 skys, 2 shacks, 2 highroads, 2 garmins and a quickstep.
sounds like a plan, i have 1 each of HTC, radioshack, sky, garmin, movistar, katusha, europcar, rabobank and omega-pharma-lotto
but my katusha guy and movistar guy will be replaced with HTC and radioshack for the TTT
You're all forgetting what boonen nearly did in the uphill sprint a couple of weeks ago
Seen as its after midnight, i'm hoping not to many will read this, but thats my Belgian
I have a yank, aussie, colombian, belgian, frog, slovenian, lithuanian, dutchman and welshman.
. . . and a load of credit to buy the winners of the ttt and contador (when the mountains start)
So basically i've told you my squad . . . oops
im guessing youve done it in the correct list order too
so uran and thomas
yank could be any from HTC or radioshack
aussie i reckon goss
belgian im gonna go gilbert
frog im gonna say voeckler
maybe your Slovenian is koren
lithuanian could be the same as mine
dutchman ten dam maybe
haha thats unfortunate, my domestiques, GC, and sprinter are all not great due to the expense of the All rounders i have
Now i thought about having 2 good AR and my sprinter, but then i thought if i put in crap DS and GC it would take a couple of days to switch them around, so i'm about 75% sure i'll stick with this team for 2moro
Yeh i mulled over it for ages, and think one of my expensive allrounders will be axed after stage 4 due to his value and change in the type of sprint. My sprinter is of average price and my climber is a lower value but in decent form. I think i have a couple of cheapish all rounders that can sprint though too. but i guess we shall see
Well my squad consists of French, Belgian, Spanish, USA, Dutch, Russian, Norwegian, Lithuanian and Ukrainian
Just been thinking about it, there are 2 from both Norway and Belgium i'd like to pick, but credits limit that
I also have Navardauskas in just for an extra 5 points
But incase that plan fails, i have Engels for 5 points bonus aswell
good guesses J Andrew Hill but well off with my french guy and belgium guy.
Echoes what Gkam says
to be honest Navardauskas is more in for my cheap garmin guy for the TTT
Not gonna bother changing them as my team is set up for the first two stages
Ruled Cav out, have Thor as my sprinter.
Well its Norway or Belgium for me and they aint both in the sprinters class
Hhhmm. I reckon you picked
Swift for stage 3
Jose Joaquin Rojas Gil, Ciolek, Hushovd & EBH, Voeckler & Bonnet and Navardauskas
You'll need to change em now
Not for me there aint, stage 3 will be a brit to win, stage 1 will be from spain, belgium, norway, france or lithuania. if you manage to fathom out the potential winners in my team from those clues
