I think the 14th will be spoilt by someone Spanish thats not waiting on a drugs charge
Well i've put in Cav for the first time, and gallopin to replace popovich. The like most people get in to French guys for the 14th July. Then we will see
I have the other problem, team full of sprinters, trying to decide who to drop for climbers or to free up some cash for a half decent GC guy.
Yeah, luckily i kept him in, but now faced with a choice of chopping someone for 2moro to get a sprinter in or leave it as a mountain team
Yeh he got a leadout, cave used Oss but went about 50m too soon then didn't commit. too many good sprinters, don't know where to hang my hat.
jerome still in by the way
Just watched the highlights of yesterday, no lead outs from their teams, They did use other riders, but no normal lead out trains
I thought gripe all wouldn't have his team leading him out
Yeah i called that wrong, i thought the last climb might have weeded them out
Didn't see the finish, did gripe all get a lead out?
I cant see a sprinter winning today, they will save themselves for tomorrow, the winner might just come from a break
Greipel is not really a sprinter this year, more of a DS.
I so dont know what to do.....Cav or Rojas....Cav will win the first sprint as its early in the stage, and with it being a short stage with no difficult climbs, and after a rest day,its just possible that HTC will kill the breaks....But will Cav fancy a tough ride, the temperamental git...
Really? Are you his brother or him in disguise?
I'm quite prepared to bite my tongue, bit i VERY much doubt i'll have to, he just doesn't have it in him to win the tour and i think he'll have a much better chance at the Vuelta
Jerome out???
Good point well made Jimbo, Liquigas main objective may indeed be to finish 2nd to our Albert, I'm just hoping they think they can spare one dom. to try and win something else
Can't help but wonder how much Sagan (and Degenkolb for that matter) would have lit up the first week!
Hmm. If Liquigas have been invisible, that's because everything revolves around Basso. Don't expect to see them do anything till the Pyrenees. I could be wrong and probably am
Liquigas are invisible so far, they must try something soon so I 'm putting forward Vanotti to be in the break.
D'ont have feillu but would loke to see him get a deserved stage win.
Can anyone say, double standards?? UCI didn't announce Contador's test till after the race, Did they??
Also looks like he's going to get off with it
I've brought uran back in. But if he looks like winning, the CRS will call in snipers and take him out.
Rojas to win stage.Velits to score 5.
Personally my money is on Cadel being taken out by the tour helicopter.
Strangely enough i was taking to myself the other day with all the crashes, has a TV helicopter ever crashed while filming the tour?
Not into the riders tho, i think i would have heard about that
If Cadel did get taken out, it would do him a favour and save a lame excuse from him why he couldn't win
Gkam84, you will bite your tongue in due course my friend!
Blimey, that shows the power of the game.
I mention earlier in this thread about a big name rider testing positive before it goes anywhere else on site, and you're all talking about which domestiques you should choose.
What's Pat McQuaid's number? Everyone, everywhere, should be made to play Fantasy Cycling. Doping ignored.
Complete change of plan as the climbs aren't as bad as I thought. Changed my GC instead. Mollema for the Pyranees, I think.
I've had Mollema from the start, if i switch him out then he'll go and win everything, so i'm sticking with him, but he's hanging back everyday to protect Gesink
I fancy Mollema for this one, but do I sacrifice Uran Uran? Tricky.
I sacrificed Uran, but not for Mollema
I'm hoping we see someone 'Gallopin' off the front
Kolobnev to do something...
Sounds like he already has.
UCI have announced he tested positive for Hydrochlorothiazide from a sample taken last week
Too subtle? Reports suggest he's been sacked by Katusha and is now out.
