-nibali
-jj haedo
-mollema
-fuglsang
-monfort
-froome
-kessiakoff
-moreno
-poels
fingers crossed i get a decent score tomorrow :)!
Some points missing, Moreno only scoring 37 and it should be 43
18 for stage, plus 2 for 9th GC, plus 2 for 4th in points, plus 3 for mountains, plus 10 for cat 1 plus 2 for cat 1, plus 6 for 2nd sprint
points are not awarded like that Gkam for the cat 1's
he got 6 for topping out the cat 1 and nothing for 4th in the other cat 1 so i believe
I think you might be mixing up Cat 1 with HC.
Oh yeah, oppps, i read the HC climbs, lol
aaaaggggghhhhhh
I was trying to decide last night who to replace Kittel with and went for Eros Cappecchi, only to be told I had 2 other Leakygas riders. . . . so toyed with swapping out Sagan for Montfort . . . . and I should have done.
Hey ho - I won't be winning la vuela - but 90+ points today is not too bad.
Gives me time to look over the rider values before I cook dinner! Take your time!
I do remember him hanging on to the team car collecting drink bottles. It seemed a bit strange at the time
Yeah, seems there was a bit of fettling going on with the GC standings down at Vuelta Towers, just waiting for the official scores to come through and then I'll be updating. Apologies for the slight delay folks.
the +24 was on the official site. Was there a penalty that was rescinded or was it a fuck-up. Prob. the latter.
Revised top 10 GC
1 Wiggins (SKY) 51:14:59
2 Nibali (LIQ) +4
3 Froome (SKY) +7
4 Kessiakoff (AST) +9
5 Fuglsang (LEO) +19
6 Mollema (RAB) +36
7 Monfort (LEO) +1:04
8 J.J. Cobo (GEO) +1:27
9 D. Moreno (KAT) +1:52
10 Zubeldia (RSH) +1:53
Dont know why Nibali was being shown at +24m so that drops me to 87 points today
Huh. Stage finish coverage on ITV had him at 24' for some reason, very odd, but list here:
http://www.lavuelta.com/11/en/resultados/index.html?e=13
which I guess is what Oli is working off, has him at 4'. If that sticks then 102 for me.
@Gkam84 re: Anton
didn't realise he was THAT far down, thought it was only 5/6. Not really interested in him.
Wish I'd had Moreno instead of Poels today but won't dump him as I'm expecting more in the next 2 stages. Was thinking of putting in Blanco but thought he might be too old to do it, but came a respectable 8th.
No great damage done to Sky today. Hope the TV is better over the weekend as that's when we'll see what he's made of. Think I'll have a Kat and Liq rider in there though just in case, although I reckon Nieve will win one of the two as he won Gijon-Cotobello last year and he gained some useful time today. Think he's more dangerous than Moreno in fact.
actually he didnt have the time penalty so with the bonus sprint seconds he is now second ,4' behind wiggins :)!
he had a time penalty !
71 for me today ,sky's fault for letting the break go !!
105 for me 3 in the break, top 4 on GC, plus Moncoutie who was on an absolute mission taking mountain points today, as predicted.
Does anyone know what happened to Nibali? With the time bonus from the first sprint he should have been 4 seconds off Wiggo, now he's 24. ITV4 were speculating a time penalty? He came in with Wiggo etc.
88 for me today, yesterday i had 92 and had the winner and another 3 in the top 20, only had 1 today

Not a great day for me
nibali to take red tomorrow sky have had a hard few days so i think he can put some time into him tomorrow :D!!
Jan Bakelandts stabilisers fell off
awful for my team
Coverage has been hampered by the weather today. My predictions I made last night are coming pretty much true, big break of climbers, Nibali escaped on the Cat 1 descent but Sky chased them down. Now the trick is avoiding Moreno, Roche etc. gaining too much time on the break, allowing such a big break with 3-4 people high up to get away was bloody daft.
anyone else think that the spanish tv coverage looks very amateurish compared to the coverage of the t de f?
quite like it sometimes though. some of the t de f coverage looked almost *too* slick.
Why would Anton even matter? he's 17mins down
More of a concern to the leaders would be
85 D. Moreno (ESP, KAT) +3:39
161 C. Sørensen (DEN, SBS) +3:47
11 Roche (IRL, ALM) +3:50
148 Seeldraeyers (BEL, QST) +4:25
54 Nieve (ESP, EUS) +4:46
All inside 5 min's down
Anton just dropped out of the group
got Montaguti and Nieve, hoping for something from both, (got a bit with Montaguti so far). But if Anton is in there it's not going far.
