I have not found which will be the scoring for tour of qatar stages
Where there are 3 jersey's
Gold - General individual classification
Silver - General points classification
White - Best young rider classification
So there are your jersey points sorted out
The normal GC and Stage points?
There are 9 sprints up for grabs
Also 5 finish sprints (not that they could in the game)
There is the TTT on Stage 2, so i guess thats going to be the normal TTT set up, unless your going to discount dropped riders
I have 501 riders to choose from for Qatar, which is fine except there are 16 teams of 8 which equals 128. Any chance of an update to the game?

this is the latest rider and reserve list on the website.
Goss is not riding.
me neither. but i expect i'll have a poke around tomorrow and sort out some scoring criteria
Classic fluffy
I found all the stage finish profiles
Stage 1: $$$$$$
Stage 2: $$$$$$
Stage 3: $$$$$$
Stage 4: $$$$$$
Stage 5: $$$$$$
Stage 6: $$$$$$
Martin and Moreno did me proud on quite a few occasions, but with the new set up, unless i think they can get a win, up in the alps or somewhere, i may well steer clear and stick to riders like Galimzyanov and Wagner for the climbs and Faria Da Costa and Gasparotto for the sprints
@ J Andrew Hill
Bobridge hey
PS-think you can knock off the signature thanks now if you want
oops, thanks, well spotted. Bobridge is no climber. Better change him for one of those Euskadel riders, they're good going uphill.
Dam'n, I shouldn't have said, since your topping NW & IOM keague
These did well for me last season, so will loyaly stick by them for next race
D. Martin
D. Moreno
J. Bakelants
N. Roche
K. Seeldraeyers
+ 4 TBA
Thats oman though, we have Qatar first, Climbers needed for it

So load up your team with sprinters
No, seriously, this is my first pick for Qatar . . .
remove
Lars Boom (RAB)
Heinrich Haussler (GRM)
Davide Appollonio (SKY)
Mark Cavendish (SKY)
Lars Bak (LOT)
Cameron Meyer (GRE)
Jack Bobridge (GRE)
Xavier Florencio (KAT)
David Zabriskie (GRM)
Flat ! A few sand dunes and flat . . . uphill to the podium for the winner.
So I'd go for someone like Rigoberto Uran !
Was going to say one is pan flat and the other is a bit lumpy but couldn't remember which way round.
Keep an eye out on http://www.steephill.tv/
Best place to get all the info on any race you want
Here is the full Parcours for this year, i dont think they bother showing profiles as its pretty much ALL flat http://www.letour.fr/2012/TQA/COURSE/us/le_parcours.html
Thanks Dave & Co for including the Tours of Qatar and Oman. Now I will have to go study them.
+1 to include Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and/or Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne to fill in the gap at end of February. Only problem is they are on following days, so only small window to swap riders out (good chance to test the automate roster changer thing, if you have built it). It will get the fantasy players looking at some of the smaller 1 day classics.

more links to races than you can poke a stick at
Thanks for the link, but still don't see a profile of stages.
Maybe they haven't gone on Qatar website yet
I found the profiles:
Stage 1: ______________
Stage 2: _ (TTT)
Stage 3: _______________
Stage 4: ______________
Stage 5: ________________
Stage 6: ____________
Hope that helps
I found some other profiles
Stage 1: ¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.•´¯`•
Stage 2: _ (TTT)
Stage 3: ´סּ ¸ סּ`
Stage 4: =^..^=
Stage 5: ><(((('>
Stage 6: ‹(•¿•)›
Just checked price of my team for Qatar,& now can't afford them with my points balance. Balance down & prices up
Can't find a proper profile for race neither, any links?
YES! we wait months for fantasy cycling to come back - have a good TDU, and then the candy is removed for 6 weeks, or so it seemed - well done Road CC and thanks for listening
bring on Qatar - on the fantasy, and in the flesh
Sterling effort, Dave. Thought I'd struggle through Feb with no FC, but this has made my day. I'll probably still struggle through Feb, though, given a few bad team selection choices!
sounds like there will there be more people doing Fantasy cycling than actually spectating at the whole of the Tour of Qatar!
After looking at the provisional start list i've got:
Cav
Renshaw
Mcewen
Oss
Kohler
Eisel
Posthuma
Tuft
Wyss.
No way is it set in stone, but it's not to bad a team - so far
I know some of these guys wont be races, but here is an example team prob about 1/2 of who i'll pick
Mark Cavendish (SKY)
Alessandro Petacchi (LAM)
Roman Kreuziger (AST)
David Millar (GRM)
Valentin Iglinksiy (AST)
Javier Moreno (MOV)
Christian Benenati (FAR)
Hayden Roulston (RSN)
Jack Bauer (GRM)
Mark Cavendish (SKY) PC Value: 40.0 Form: 0.0
Peter Sagan (LIQ) AR Value: 34.6 Form: 0.0
Andre Greipel (LOT) PC Value: 34.6 Form: 22.6
Karsten Kroon (SAX) AR Value: 15.5 Form: 0.0
DomestiquesKlaas Lodewyck (BMC) DS Value: 9.6 Form: 0.0
Roger Kluge (1T4) DS Value: 3.1 Form: 0.0
Alex Howes (GRM) DS Value: 3.3 Form: 0.0
Danilo Wyss (BMC) DS Value: 3.3 Form: 0.0
Baden Cooke (GRE)
potential team based on current rider list, its tough if you want more than maybe 1/2 big names
I'll look forward to it, thanks Dave.
Wow, gonna be some tough choices for tour of qatar for such a flat race in the main.....Renshaw, Cav, Greipel, Sagan, Hushovd,
our first real view of how teams etc may be picked for the tours
What about Het N and KBK, the two most overlooked races on the calendar.
Not my favourites though
Hmm, personally I dont mind the break, its time consuming picking your team every day, all the more so for the big races which mean 3 weeks consistent effort.
