Tour of Oman. Stage 4

Heres the profile for tomorrow http://www.steephill.tv/players/aso-profile/?race=tour-of-oman&stage=4&y...

Looks like an interesting stage lots of hills but only a small climb up hill for the last 5km. so who to drop who to keep is the question, Will the break succeed or will be another bunch finish? Lots of question and 4 transfers saed up. I think this stage and the next will be the ones to make a big difference in points

Andre Greipel gets back on to win the stage. Sagan second. Think Chris Sutton 3rd #tourofoman

Christ!! If that's right I got 1,2, 3.

F*****************CCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

I'm off to commit suicide now 14 I got 3rd, but still not good, thinking i'm gonna give up the game this year, doing my nut in already and with unreliable coverage and reports/profiles, i give up, its not even fun like it was last year with prizes for every race, takes the fun element away

Yeah there is a long way to go, but its now spoiling my enjoyment of cycling, I can understand taking in Qatar, but what was the point in Oman, NO TV coverage, having to rely on twitter for updates from one person out there, not seeing the previous stage until the deadline for the next transfers were done, all a bit pointless

Last year this game enhanced my viewing of the races because it was a bit like the horses, you cheer on your guys, cant do that with Oman

Eurosport have just started stage 3 highlights, stage 4 has already finished, so 2 stages behind now

There was me thinking that ToQ and ToO were last minute additions to the game, in response to complaints that otherwise we'd have no Fantasy Cycling to follow for a month.

The situation with ToO coverage is poor, but I'd rather have something to follow (even if it involves even more of a blindfold and pin approach than normal) rather than no FC fix

Anyone know where Chavanel finished?

We have to remember this race was not included in the fantasy game and it was peer pressure that got it added so i suppose we just have to live with it. I think the tour of algarve would have been a better race to include than Oman but thats like saying "shutting the gate after the horse has bolted".

I admit the tv coverage has been worse than shite but again we cant predict what the tv companies are going to show especially when its the southern hemisphere (i think my georgraphy is correct). 39

I've been complaining about the lack of coverage of Oman since the start, yes i got a decent score yesterday, but that still doesn't make up for the fact that there is another race on, WITH TV coverage that should have been put in and not Oman

Oman was NEVER scheduled to have ANY live coverage at all

The reason i got a decent score yesterday, along with most others is because i stuck with who i know, I cant see anyone to see if they look good for a break tomorrow because there is no coverage until the next stage is finished

Distance from London to Muscat
Distance is 5839 kilometers or 3629 miles or 3153 nautical miles

And using the same Muscat, to the Equator works out at roughly 1611 miles using latitude and longitude and an algorithm is known as the Great Circle distance. 26 26

Well I wasn't factoring in longitude or actual distance London to Muscat - just drawing an imaginary straight line of longitude down from Cornwall and moving Oman west onto that (which would place it roughly in Mauritania, about 3,500km below the UK and getting on for 3,000km above the Equator. Certainly not halfway, but closer in terms of latitude to UK than you'd assume.

And still in the Northern Hemisphere 3

(And obviously those are very rough back of a fag packet calculations...)
