This is really fun... We've done this for two really (!) good races with really cool climbs and fantastic (!) rosters! I'm really happy to be in. Thanks, TER... I hope this sways Roadcc to get these races on the calendar next time. These are a lot cooler than Paris Nice and the races in the desert... Thanks! I hope we do this for the Tour de Suisse! Maybe Dave will open up a competition for us though!
That was samuel not tom
Rather than assume I've picked a donkey I'm going to assume I've played a blinder and he's saving himself for a massive solo win
Doh! Sorry bad star for me and a man down
Seems he wasnt a donkey!
Seems Sky are only sending 6 riders which is strange
You must have good sauces !
Righto, sorting it all in the morning as forgot to put my spreadsheet on my memory stick
im wondering whether to take a gamble and put in JVDB as i believe its his 1st race of the year
Hi guys, count me in with this team:
Valverde 28,3
Roche 24,3
Uran 28,2
Cunego 31,1
Szmyd 7,0
Slagter 6,3
Tom Dumoulin 3,8
Navarro 7,1
Machado 9,1
It can't fare any worse than my M-SR team, I guess...
@Nickobec, had had a look at the parcours but tbh had not considered it fully when selecting Levi.
If TERatcliffe don't mind, then could I swap Leipheimer for D Martin? Thanks
Could you check that D Martin is in my squad, please? I had 0 points for yesterday but Dan came in 8th. Cheers.
My spreadsheet seems to have made an error for all of your scores. It seems although I have name in your team box Martins name is down, its translasted your original team (ie Leipheiemr) into the boxes where it scores for the riders (you have been getting Leipheimers scores by Marins name) so you will have alot more points added to your overall total. Will have it sorted when i do todays scores.
Apologies for that my mistake
No problem, Thanks.

although you can guarantee he wins it now ive dropped him
See i think uran will be the man for this race
Feel free to pop a team in, you have till monday morning
I was thinking that as well. Only one mountaintop finish though. Quite a few descents at the end of a race. Pity Nibali isn't racing.
For those choosing Wiggins for this, this is what he said in the Guardian
so at Catalonia mentally I will try to take my foot off the gas, probably playing a team role, riding on the front of the bunch, working for whoever needs it among the team.
Just saying!
Might put a team up later. It'll be fun to do a purist thing.
PS How do I find out the points for the riders. I can't remember all of them off by heart.
Easy way go pick a team, remove all your MSR team and add you Volta Ciclista a Catalunya team, the cut and pasted your team here, then go back and hit the reset transfer button
it does seem to (when i have just done it in my head), when i put all the riders in on the system it wouldn't let me, but now ive done it again and its worked.
maybe there was a glitch and it hadn't taken the value off from a previous rider that had been in
Just waiting on teams from Drheaton, Wig_Billy, Lucas and Nickobec
Stevespro ive put your team in, but you are over budget by 1.7 credits
It adds up to 149.0
Here goes for my first stab . . . hope to find time to review this, but i am off to the live recording og 606 tomorrow - watch out for me on the ref button at midnight.
