Request for the TdF
Dave, I've got a request/suggestion for the game ahead of the TdF.
Can we have fantasy jerseys competitions?
So, there'd be a points jersey, a KoM jersey and another, probably not a white, that people can compete for outside of the usual game.
For example, designated flat stages (or those likely to end in a sprint) would count to a sprint jersey, high mountains towards the KoM jersey etc with the top X teams receiving some points and the top team at the end getting a prize, perhaps just a coloured (green/polka dot) road.cc jersey? Maybe it could be given to the teams picking up the most actual intermediate sprint or KoM summit points?
The idea needs work but I think it'd be a great addition and lots of fun, when people drop out of contention for the top prizes they could set their team out just for sprints or mountains and have a crack at a great fun prize.

Wow awesome idea. Would certainly give the Premium game even more value for money
I like this because we don't all have the time to research our personal dream team for each and every scenario. Having competitions like this would allow casual users to just change occasionally but still play effectively by putting out, for example, a sprinters team for the entire tour.
Besides, cycling isn't cycling without a multitude of sub-competitions to confuse the layman!
I agree, this would be fun and surely would be good advertising for road.cc as we'd all be cycling round our respective local areas with road.cc emblazoned yellow/pink/red/green/polka dot jerseys once we won one!
I think this is a great idea and I was going to suggest something similar for next year.
Oh! A red breakaway/most aggressive jersey as the third.
Scoring wise I was thinking top team gets maybe 100 points down to 1 for 100th rather than your actual stage points.
