Yeah....close but no Cigar
His Kwiatkowski+Rojas beat my Devenyns(big let down)+Bauer by 7 pts otherwise we had the same teams.
I'm bringing Boonen and Nizzolo in for Devenyns and Phinney tomorrow(watch Dries win the stage now!!).
So close Silas, nice 2nd place though
2,3,6,7,8,14,17 on the stage +5 for Durbridge
2,3,5,8 and 10 on GC
I've had worse days but I don't think I'll get much tomorrow.
I was close today - chose Durbridge over Tuft (and it really was a toss of a coin thing) but still got 2,3,4,6,8 and feel like I have a half-decent team for tomorrow. 2 transfers to make (dropping Blythe and probably Haussler, was hoping Blythe would get 5 points for Phinney today but I have 2 GreenEdge guys anyway), and so many guys that could score high tomorrow - tough decision! Shame my first three stages were not so good really...
Contador 7th and looking good - I wonder if he's worth a punt for San Sebastian?
3rd and 9th for me is all ive got, 2,4,7 in GC
What a ride by Tuft!
Ive got my team all wrong!!! why did i go for larsson
Phinney takes out his 1 and 2 minute men. Finishes 27" in the lead
Maybe tomorrow Gkam
Of course my team is going to win today
Jose Joaquin Rojas (MOV)
Marcel Kittel (ARG)
Heinrich Haussler (GRM)
Mark Renshaw (RAB)
Adam Blythe (BMC)
Kris Boeckmans (VCD)
Andrey Amador (MOV)
Jon Izagirre (EUS)
Alexander Kristoff (KAT)
Boaro quickest so far 21 mins 11 secs
Damn forgot about him
I've gone
contador
vanendert
Boom
kdukeliere
terpsra
durbridge
phinney
kwiatowski
bocekmans
My inability to read a team time trial does NOT bode well for the Vuelta!!
Lars Boom in for Marcel Kittel
Alberto Contador in for Alessandro Petacchi
Sylvain Chavanel in for Tom Boonen
Alex Dowsett in for Kris Boeckmans
and yesterday
Luke Durbridge in for Leigh Howard
Taylor Phinney in for Arnaud Demare
Fingers crossed
Well Stage 4 of this tour was my first stage win in the 2 years ive been playing, so sometimes it takes a while
Cheers...fingers crossed
It would be my first(only joined on stage 28-Gent Wevelgem this season)
Ahhh right i see, your team will destroy mine today, just hoping mine will still score solidly, however, i scored 92 points more than your score on the last two stages alone.....at least im having a decent run for once!
You have a good chance of the stage win today so good luck
I've been having a bit of a nightmare since predicting BMC,Garmin,Rabo and Vacansoleil for big things in the TTT and setting my team up accordingly and have just kind of fiddled it to this.
Really poor stage scores up to now:
1)45pts
2)41pts
3)37pts
4)90pts
5)50pts
Current glitches mean it's impossible to see Eneco position but I'd guess its l-o-o-o-w
How have you managed to get such a good ITT team silas?? how have you scored on the past two stages?
In:Devenyns,Bauer,Contador,Boom
Out:Bos,Haussler,Boeckmans,Boonen
Devenyns
Boom
Chavanel
Contador
Westra
Durbridge
Phinney
Bauer
Tuft
Now you could well be on for the stage win here! although bauer let you down and so did devenyns
wow how youve managed to get that team i dont know, but it seems a good one! (i missed the fact durbridge was racing...D'oh!)
As for you Wiggo question, the not beating Wiggo against the clock purely refers to TT's which doesnt include prologues (larsson also beat Wiggo in the dauphine prologue (i think it was dauphine, i just remember it was wet for wiggins ride))
This is the stag3e I've been looking forward to
Boom(in for Keukelaire)I think he'll be high up in GC and a top 5 for the stage
Millar(in for Haussler)
Contador(in for Kittel)high finish today and tomorrow and a rise up the GC rankings
Chavanel My idea of the tour winner if he beats Boom today
Durbridge May well be Phinney's closest rival.....is he really the last man to beat Wiggo on the clock.....what about Cancellara in the Tour Prologue?
Kwiatkowski Good TTer and high enough up the GC to also be a contender for the overall
Kristoff in for the long haul now
Dowsett Has stated he's looking for a good TT and a high GC after nicking bonus seconds a few days ago
Phinney(in for Nizzolo)Stage winner perhaps...certainly top 5?
