Oh holy Jebus, I just checked my scores from today, didn't even reach double figures....A whole 8 points. My purist team got 88
I think Dr Heaton better watch himself. With the two below him having two of the break guys who will be sweeping up the mountains points tomorrow
Still does not beat -15
Tell me about it!
I really needed Meersman and Viviani to score well on the flat yesterday but they let me down big time. Really need solid results from Marczynski and Talansky tomorrow otherwise I'm screwed and if Clarke goes and bags a load of mountain points I might as well kiss 1st place goodbye
After 19 stages I can't believe its so close and its come down to this.
Argh!
Lost another 6 points out of my lead in the purist comp, down to 16 and getting VERY nervous about tomorrow and the possibility of Simon Clarke absolutely destroying me
If you've never tried the purist game, try it next year, its great fun and incredibly tense, I have no idea what's going to happen and I can't make any changes which is absolutely killing me.
2,4,5,12,17 for me. That'll do me. Now for tomorrow.
I guess everybody just pencilled in one name for their World Champs team?
Yup, but then again, I always though Cheng Ji would be there or there abouts
Did anyone else see swifty run over somthing pink in last few yards just as he was about to pull out from behind pg? It slowed him right down as he looked backwards. May he got a flat.
Nope. I saw Gilbert run over it and then scoot past Swift, It was just one of those stupid plastic inflatable clapper things

The GC will change because Valverde is closer than that with time bonuses
I'm not sure - he was at 1'52" yesterday. Today - 1st at the intermediate, second on the stage and 3" ahead of Contador - not sure what that all adds up to. 17 seconds?
EDIT - checked the rules 6" + 8" + 3" == 17"
I'm fecked on this stage, If i'd have known the final 3km I would have made my changes for tomorrow this morning
2,4,5 and 16, i think degenkolb could have done something had he not attacked nevermind
2,4,5 and 20 Could have been worse I suppose. Would have been a lot better if Degenkolb and Breschel had stayed away for that last km

Jrod and Valverde seem to want the bonifications
What the ......... The GC guys pushing for the win on a sprinters stage
Quick HEAVY downpour....I was looking for a farmer with a hose is was that quick
Same as yesterday, planning on three in for tomorrow then back to sprinters for Sunday.
Degenkolb
Bennati
Rodriguez
Viviani
Steegmans
Lodewyck
Cardoso
Meersman
Talansky
I thought Meersman too and brought he and Bazayev in for DeLaFuente and Marczynski
Gilbert
Valverde
Degenkolb
Swift
Bazayev
Clarke
Talansky
Meersman
Stybar
See I think Marczynski suits this stage down to the ground! (see the stage he came 4th) I also think it suits Gilbert, Valverde, Mondory, Meersman, Clarke
I'll be looking out for Meersman today, could be his kind of finish. Apart from that, I'm just keeping transfers in hand so I can bring in a couple of climbers tomorrow and still be able to stage-hunt on Sunday...
Stage hunting attempt #3.
Valverde
Moreno
Bennati
Mondory
Ligthart
Nocentini
Meersman
Cardoso
Clarke
Aitor Galdos grabbing my purist team some points
My normal team is thus, with no changes from yesterday to keep transfers for tomorrow and to hell with Sunday

Elia Viviani
Winner Andrew Anacona
Javier Moreno
Simon Clarke
Tomasz Marczynski
