Transfer deadlines as ICS?
How about making the transfer deadlines available as an ICS link that can be subscribed to?
I keep missing transfer windows cos I forget, at least with this I can get a note in my diary

If it was generated by the game system then it would be at least as up to date as the game is and hopefully your Calendar app should deal with fetching updated versions as it the content at the URL cahnges...
iCal or something like that. Electronic calendar reminders that'll drop into Google Calendar or your iPhone calendar or something like that and remind you when an event (in this case a deadline) is approaching.
A pretty good idea but it'd need updating all the time as deadlines are only set once we know stage profiles so for example deadlines aren't set for Pais Vasco yet etc.
Whats an ICS ???????
