I wouldn't be surprised at an OPQS 1-2-3 in a flat time trial like that with Martin,Kwiatkowski and Chavanel.

Worst case scenario Martin comes in 4th or so... And I would bet you have Froome in there and maybe Kwiatkowsky, Porte or Contador there don't you?... 1

Balls, so much for winging it. This is the kind of thing I usually find out by reading around the race but just picking at random leaves you risking all sorts of issues like this.

He is but it seems to be a 24 hr bug , it's sweeping the peleton, EBH had it yesterday so I guess it's gonna depend on how Martin recovers overnight .....I'm in two minds on whether to risk him or not as I can see froome and a few others running him very close possibly beating him if he's still not right 7

Sticking with my plan of just winging it and seeing what happens I've made 7 changes and taken a 30 point penalty. Not really sure why to be honest but I like the look of my team and by taking the hit now all bar two or three of my guys are suitable for the duration of the race now.

Clearly I've brought in Martin and I don't think I'll be giving anything way by saying I've brought in Froome as well but I won't go into much more detail.

Dunno, Froome, Porte, Martin maybe. Not looked at the profile so not sure if it suits the flat power of Martin or a lighter climber.

EDIT: Just had a look on letour.fr and it's pan flat and pretty straight. Tony Martin all the way.

It would still be nice to see the correct national flag for Veilleux though.

In fact, none of the Sky team have and they should have right?

The whole team have, apart from Froome, it seems for some reason, his points haven't registered. Just updating it again

I think the points need to be jiggled. Froome hasn't scored any and should have 5

Hmmm, I screwed up my transfers losing a 1,2,3 and still managed 148 points moving up to 4th overall...

Clearly winging it and spending the absolute minimum time working on my team is the way to go 4

Question is, do I have the guts to try that through the Tour 39

3-4-5-6-7 for me, not bad I guess, after a poor start. have been suffering from giro indegestion tbh, trying to rekindle my enthusiasm!
will be going into ITT with only the 2 transfers, with 5 guys to tin, so looking at a good 30 point penalty- ive got this pretty wrong, having gerrans and gavazzi at the start, bringing in slagter after stage 1 only to tin him again, etc...
