...and yet the death and mayhem caused by the motor car remains normalised & continues unabated, what little provision that exists for vulnerable road users is ripped out and low traffic neighbourhoods vandalised. The answer lies in your votes and your voices, please use both.

It's 2010 and a mass meeting of the UK population is on its last item: 

transport Minister - and finally, people it's time to renew the roads franchise for the next 10 years. All in favour?  

people - aye!

minister - did I mention that next time we do this,  about 17, 000 of you will have been killed, and 250,000 of you will have been seriously injured?
