The road.cc DealCatcher is bringing you five more smashing deals today that'll keep you warm, visible, and quick through the changing weather.
Among the retailers featured in today's DealCatcher piece are Evans, who we covered extensively in our DealCatcher voucher piece earlier in the week, and are offering 10% extra off lights, including the Knog blinder featured below. You can read all about how to get the most out of Evans by following this link.
Along with that rear light from Evans, there's are a NeilPryde Nazare road bike which has seen a 40% discount from Wiggle, a front and rear set of Lezyne lights from Hargroves, some Bont Vaypor road shoes from Merlin, and some bargain Sugoi arm warmers from ProBikeKit.
Happy shopping!
Wiggle
NeilPryde have crammed state of the art BMW-collaborated aerodynamic technology into their Nazare bike which they say makes it the perfect racing vehicle.
Whether you’re looking to get road racing this winter, or if you’re looking ahead to the spring, grabbing the ‘perfect’ race machine for as little as £1200 is pretty good going, we reckon.
The bike runs Shimano 105, sits on Shimano RS10 wheels, and has had its aerodynamic work done to its tubing, which maintains incredible rigidity and stability while also being incredibly streamlined.
Hargroves
It’s about to get dark, so we thought the DealCatcher thought that he ought to find you a couple of bargains that’ll illuminate your rides over the coming weeks.
First up is a pair of lights from Lezyne which we reviewed last year. If you click on the links below you can get the full write ups, which should help you make a decision as to whether to splash the significantly reduced levels of cash on the pair of lights.
As a summery though, if you fancy taking the DealCatcher’s word for it, these are perfect emergency ‘be seen’ lights that’ll look good on your filthy winter run around or sparkling TT bike. They’re also surprisingly powerful.
Evans Cycles
In case you missed the DealCatcher’s how-to on getting the best deals from Evans Cycles, follow the link below, it’s well worth a read.
In that piece Evans’ current deal on lights was mentioned. You can get an extra 10% off these, and loads of other lights by using the code 10LIGHTS.
These Knogs may look small and quirky, but the 70 lumens which they pump out aren’t something to scoff at. Neither is the 35% discount.
Merlin Cycles
Sir Brad rides in Bont shoes, or he did until photos of him at the European Track Championships emerged of him wearing something sparkly and altogether different.
But we’re fairly sure he didn’t only choose Bont for advertising purposes. They’re a great shoemaker, and this deal from Merlin represents fantastic value.
The Vaypor employs a number of carbon technologies to create incredible power transfer and tailor-made levels of comfort.
It’s worth noting though, that Bont don’t use regular sizing - their sizes take extra note of the length of your foot. You can get a much better idea of where you sit on their sizes by using the Bont sizing wizard.
At 45% off, these are a no brainer. Right, Brad?
ProBikeKit
Finally, as the weather’s turning, but you’re not sure you’re ready for the long sleeve or winter jersey options, your best bet might be to bring out a pair of arm warmers.
You’ll do a lot worse than getting your hands on this pair of Sugoi Zap arm warmers from the guys over at Pro Bike Kit.
We reviewed them a while back, and Caven O’Hara gave them a solid 8/10. You can read what he had to say below.
Well, yeah. I can imagine that linking your product in any way to the Cybertruck, the most ridiculed product in recent history, isn't a PR victory,...
Thank goodness for that. I don't suppose anyone would want you to. You certainly behave like one though.
You do see some utterly ridiculous examples of car use....
Exactly. Every road death is a tragedy but this is at the "twat deserved it" end of the spectrum, looking at the state of that car.
I'm not the editor of this article, nor indeed of anything on this website. One would have thought that didn't require explaining.
I think the answer is in your question. I genuinely didn't know he was married to her. It does kinda explain it. Disappointing, nevertheless.
What do we want?...
In a perfect world, we'd have a measure of how easily distracted someone is, as part of their driving test....
These products are nothing but ridiculously expensive and superfluous, and they bring nothing but bragging rights....
Of course they are, and not so different. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09B662CDN?crid=34M42BETAMFT0&th=1 The bugger's got four versions up now!
