The DealCatcher's visits to Hargroves Cycles, Chain Reaction Cycles, and Ribble Cycles have offered up quite the haul of goodies for you road.cc readers to sink your teeth into today.
A great deal on a Cannondale Super X cyclocross bike gets things underway.
That's followed by a stunning set of deals on Schwalbe's One tyres over at Ribble Cycles. We reviewed these and gave them a 9/10, so seeing them being flogged on the cheap is like a shark smelling blood as far as the DealCatcher's concerned.
Finally, there's a pair of great value Diadora shoes over at Chain Reaction Cycles.
What are you waiting for?
Hargroves Cycles
It's gunna rain a fair amount in the coming days, so any thoughts that you had about a nice British summer should be put on hold for another week or two.
This seems as good of a time as any to remind you that English summer isn't like summer on the continent. It's gunna rain over the next few months. There'll be muddy rides, slippery rides, and kind of chilly rides just like at any other time in the year - we just hope a lot less frequently than we get them in November.
So, you might be thinking twice about going out on your summer bikes or your super skinny-tyred race bikes. Sure they're great fun in the dry, but that little fear factor of riding them in the wet may out you off.
When we look at the UK year, there's a lot more wet than dry, so a cyclocross bike makes a lot of sense as your commuter, or your day-to-day pop-down-the-shops bike.
And at this time of year there are discounts on them, even new models like this Shimano 105-totting Cannondale Super X from Hargroves Cycles.
For well under £2000 this 35mm tyred, disc brake-equipped number is fantastic value for money.
Ribble Cycles
We ran a stunning road.cc exclusive deal on Ribble Cycles' Continental inner tubes last week, so we've headed back over there to see if we can find something to put those inner tubes in.
We've come up with this great discount on Schwalbe's One Folding Tyres.
They rolled away with a 9/10 when we reviewed them here at road.cc.
Schwalbe called them their fastest tyres they've ever manufactured. We can corroborate that claim.
They're bloody brilliant.

Chain Reaction Cycles
Finally, footwear.
Diadora say that their Trivex road shoe is designed for "passionate cyclists who require a comfortable shoe, but with all the technical details needed to perform."
We'll forgive them for being a little wishy-washy there, because fortunately the DealCatcher's on hand to give you a little more information.
The 'technical details' Diadora appear to be talking about are the following: Firstly, their Morpho AM Cage, which is the name they have for the shoes upper construction. It's got anti stretch air mesh fabric, which keeps your foot firmly in place while also offering ventilation advantages. Perfect for high octane summer rides.
Then theirs the four point closure system which revolves around the aluminium buckle and its large, easy to access release button. It's a four point system because there are four different adjustment methods to help you stay secure and comfortable in the shoe.
Finally there's teh Removable heel pad and the V-Fit Adjust, which, with the aid of the velcro strap, helps you adjust the fit on the lower part of your foot for added comfort.
They're lightweight too, at 279g for the pair.
At such a low price, you'll be getting a fairly well put-together shoe.

It's the first place I always look! There's some surprising stuff on there. For example check out just how good massive Vittoria Hyper Voyager roll. And also cheap stuff like the Vittoria Rubino Pro 3.
Rubino's really are pretty budget too.. got them on the missus' cheapo bike. Not even 2 watts difference than my supposedly posh 50 quid rubber
Nearly all of my fastest times have been on Rubino pros but in 25m not 23m. supposed to be a different rubberand safer in the wet. Hardly ever punctured compared to ultremo's which i quickly abandoned.
Tubeless now but if i was running cliners with inners would not hesitate in going with the rubino's
What are the One's like compared to the 4000s II's?
LIke the Schwawble graphics, was thinking to get some for when the Conti's wear out
Very good. But, on the graphics, they do start to look a bit scruffy and get a bit dirty overall. If that bothers you then the Conti do stay looking a bit better. The Ones are excellent tyres though.
All the data you need is here:

Pretty comparable tyres acc/ that site. Really nice site that.. cheers!
The inner proofreader kicked in: "Then theirs the four point closure system..."
